one of the worst quests in the game...

I would rather do setup 10x than do all of the shoreline quests.

Shoreline is the worst map in the game.

Im usually pretty good at pvp but i hate fkn shotguns and keep getting dropped by dudes with automatic weapons lol

what servers are you on? im on the default servers and every fight i get into i get insta 1 tapped and im a level 26 and pvp all the time and im never getting better?

Atleast it looks like u only got easy enemys. Sure its easy if they dont one tap you everytime :D

I always complete BS as soon as possible. Im stuck in mid wipe and no one runs customs right now. Or at least the timmies in the early wipe task areas.

Just craft flechette...

AP-20 makes this quest very easy

giga when he runs flechette: wipes the lobby in like 4 bullets
me when I run flechette: gets killed by a dude 30000 meters away

I only just finished this task the other night for this wipe… AND THEN your video gets recommended 😂

Good advice though, this was pretty much how I ended up playing it out. I tried a few different things, ammo, armour & locations, but ended up going the same path you advise.

i can't seem to get any quest progression on this one. After watching this video i was thinking maybe you cant use the ears. But still no progress once i removed the ear piece.
I wonder if it just a visual bug in .13.
I should be at 4 kills now but still showing 0

No understand why so few people thinks about the saiga 12 when speaking about shotgun, it's a pretty good one, and it's on a AK plateform !

The way i do it completely naked with ushanka, scav vest and mp153 with 8rnd mag with ap20 and nothing else. Die alot but usually get atleast 1 kill before i die.

I know its a little late, but the MP-18 IS classified as a shotgun in tarkov, and coincidentally, MP series, so its eligible for setup. Sniping for setup anyone?

The hardest part of doing PVP in Tarkov is how laggy the servers are. You don't see it in normal times as something is hiding it from you. Otherwise if we seen the choppiness of this game all the time, nobody would play it. But its always still there. So the PVP meta is get one of those Auto Aiming auto guns and just point and prey. As for all other gun/play styles, its much harder. That's why people hate this quest. Odds are you get one shot. You wont live long enough to get a second one off. And if you panic fire, well be surprised you lived that long. But your still screwed.

Mp155 with Ap20 craft end of the story

Meanwhile after I finished Silent Caliber I did the rest of this quest using a DB and no armor, not even a backpack. I did very well with that and managed to outplay a 4 man on dorms, only to get doinked by a player scav right after. Good times.

@gigabeef you cant use the M32s becouse the microphones that capture the sound are on the sides of the headphones (black squares on the sides) so they wouldnt work, tried it myself with my M32s XD

If you want to you can use the mp-18 i think since it is an mp-series weapon and it is classified as a shotgun.

Dorms as "pvp" area... went there like 15 raids in a row and noone was there or got there anytime XD

Idk if ive ever seen that many bears in a single raid. Four in one? Ive gathered two bear tags while trying to get six of them to trade for an RSASS

I always run setup with a korund and typically get it done in about 5-8 raids. I don't know what the big deal is on it given the fact that you're normally around max traders before tackling it and typically have workbench where you can craft AP-20's. But 50 bmg is a good stand in for AP-20.

Last wipe I did mp155 ultima with a monstrum, suppressed and AP20s and it was great. This wipe I don't have the AP20s so I'll have to try it differently this wipe.

I’m 90% sure the mp18 rifle counts for setup as it is legally a shotgun but I haven’t tested it

Just running to Dorms with flachettes is the quickest way to do the quest. Flachettes are brutal to come up against in dorms no matter the skill level of the opposing player. The recoil builds do make a big difference when running magnum buck though. If you don't want to go to dorms buck is a good choice with the better damage over range and ability to two tap leg shot at significant range.

I wish I could play against these paid actors. Everyone Headeyes me before they even appear on my screen.

Just finished it yesterday ^^ Took me a week, but I am happy. Did it together with Silent Caliber for double joy.
