ОтветитьHi sir, your lectures are pretty interesting. Pls, keep doing it...
ОтветитьGreat lecture. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьExcellent lecture. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is a really brilliant lecture. Great job, Jason!!
ОтветитьThanks! Are there more than five of these?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWhy do we need 1 (Gametogenesis) and 2 (Fertilization)? In other words, why is sexual reproduction necessary? Couldn't we just start at 3 (cell division), and whenever we want to reproduce, we just send off a single cell on its own, to start its own reproducing cycle (from 3)?
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьI've got my Scott Gilbert textbook out
Ответитьthis is awesome! i appreciate, thank you so much!
ОтветитьLooking forward for more videos on topics such as cell totipotency, determination, commitment etc. In addition to that different specimen developmental biology.
ОтветитьThis is one amazing lecture! Thank you very much. This is one thing I can have for my students view as one of their online learning activities.
Ответитьonly 5 vids?..waht happened?
Ответитьwhat happens if we separate the cells in an embryo? Will they re-attach to each other and become normal?
ОтветитьExcellent video! You just got a new subscriber <3
ОтветитьThe question is why and not what. Dive a little deep please so that a phd scholar can get smth

Ответитьfascinating video! Im already thinking of changing majors to Biology and eventually Evo Devo. =) Soo cool to learn about!
Ответитьgreat video on embryology... but where are other lectures ??
ОтветитьThat is what evolutionists are doing now, they are taking Science backwards. **My Opinion**
ОтветитьGreat lecture! Hope you upload lot more way faster!!
Ответитьoh man.... please get rid of that shirt.
Otherwise, these are pretty good, thanks for the effort!
Hello Jason, Can you please tell me the Title of Unit 1, Lecture 2....... because I couldn't find this lecture.....I can only search Unit 1, Lecture 1(Little Man), 3 (How the Maggot Gets Its Stripes) and 4 (Overview of the model organism C. elegans). Do you also have other Units???? Thanks
ОтветитьI really am waiting for a next lecture.... Graduated in Molecular BIology and genetics........ Really loved ur lecture a lot
ОтветитьI am teaching developmental biology and your lecture is incredible! Very clear, to the point, precise and engaging. Do you have more lectures? I enjoy it very much!
Thank you for doing this!
Thanks. I recorded this in a home studio. The screen is a piece of tempered glass with the 3M rear-projection film applied to the side opposite I'm writing on. Lighting is 10 strategically placed lamps with CFL bulbs. Projector (1024x768) and camera are pretty basic. After recording, I adjust exposure levels to boost contrast and edit in Final Cut Pro X. If there's enough interest, I may record a "how-to" video at some point, but for now, I need to finish some more lectures!
ОтветитьI really like the look of this presentation. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind answering a couple of questions about the technology you're using: I'm assuming it's 3m rear projection film on glass for the display--but is the film on the side that you're writing on, or is the film on the reverse of the glass? And, how bright are the lights that you're under? I know brightness is relative, but is it a studio, or just regular room lighting? And do you know the type of projector being used? Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you so much sir....I used to hate dev bio but now i like it....im lkng forward to more lectures to get my concepts clear.
ОтветитьStay tuned - more are in the works.
ОтветитьWhen are you gonna continue these great videos?
ОтветитьIs this the same level of the upper-level college course? Might take Developmental Bio in the fall at a university.
ОтветитьGreat. Where can I get one of those shirts??
ОтветитьNice presentation! Thank you! Looking forward to next lecture!
ОтветитьThis is a really great, informative, and well constructed presentation!

ОтветитьThis looks like the most powerful lecture ever made! Did you get it in Mexico?
