I read The Snow Child. I liked it. Not anything spectacular, but good. I’m not sure you would like it. I think it is a standalone; don’t have to read the other first. The Cut looks good 😀

The snow child was the first book I read this year. I gave it 4/5

Black Woods Blue Sky hews to a folkloric tradition about the ~magic and mystery of bears. You don’t have to have previous knowledge of or experience with these other stories but this book has some weird elements (namely, humans having to make incredibly stupid decisions to keep the plot moving) thar are part of the genre. Good Material is surprising…you hate Andy until you realize that he wasn’t wrong.
