My Labrador listens well most of the time but when she gets overly excited she fails even basic commands and seems to loose all brain function (which isn’t much to begin with). She’ll do random commands instead of what I’m asking her to do and gets vocal. She gets tons of exercise and treat motivation almost makes it worse. It’s beyond frustrating!
ОтветитьStonnie you are absolutely amazing !!! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you.
ОтветитьHi Stonnie and furbabys...my daughter just got an English lab( silver) he is 5mts. Trying to houstrain..appears this dog has his own mind..gets very. Distracted and does his business in home..my question is how to housetrain this puppy..we offer him every hour Togo potty..then when he is outside he does not pee outside..as soon as we bring him in he pees and poop inside. Any comments deeply appreciated..rhan you..hugs to everyone..say hi to no name..
ОтветитьYou talk about your kennel all the time. Could you make a tour of your kennel.
ОтветитьHello Stonnie,
I don't know if you read or reply to questions but have you ever had a bloodhound and if you have, what's your experience of them?
Thank you.
My girl minds because she is ready for the adventure. She does get a refresher before we leave the house for something new. It really does remind her that the adventure requires attention.
ОтветитьStonie I have a 12 month old black lab male that is doing great on everything EXCEPT when he’s off leash and sees another dog or kid-then he forgets all his training and he’s off like a shot! He knows heel, sit, here and is steady to shot off the leash even on doubles just ignores me when another dog or kid comes into view. I would appreciate any help.
ОтветитьI approve of the black lab line up, ha! You convinced me, about 2.5 years ago that my next dog will be a nice lab. Glad to see the videos!
ОтветитьYou are the man Stonnie. I miss the long form training videos.
ОтветитьWow! Otter is our friend! You have done an amazing job with him! I don't even recognize the way he's behaving! Great job and thank you!
ОтветитьAmazing advice uncle. My yellow lab has been w me thru the pandemic and your videos have been my go to whenever i need some dog keeping advice
ОтветитьGlad you’re back with some training tips! My black chubby is learning well on his off-leash training…sometimes. 🤷🏻♀️
ОтветитьCool vid, youre working with standard easy to train dogs. You got tips for Coonhounds as family pets with an off leash recall? then you'll impress me. I have a 14 week old Redbone that is great, but damn does that nose snifff. Even more then I was expecting, and I thought I was ready for that!
ОтветитьGreat video to bring one back down to earth with their dog training. It's easy to put the cart before the horse. Thanks Stonnie!
ОтветитьThere he is !! Gettin' our lab fix today. Love all those good dogs. Stonnie's pretty good too. LOL
ОтветитьThank you! This was such a simple yet very important concept I needed to hear. I’m a suburban mom with an 8month old Aussie (yes, square peg in a round hole situation) and was losing my sense of direction with our training. Back to basics!
