Definitely finally earned my subscription xD seen you around but I never thought to subscribe but now I am! 😂
ОтветитьWhat an awesome analogy. It instantly helped me understand the nodes and how they kinda work.
ОтветитьSuch a great tutorial, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks so much, this is so well explained🎉😊
ОтветитьI’m a musician/videographer and just learning DAVINCI Resolve and I was happy to find this video. The video is spot on. Easily understood with demos. Really enjoy your videos. THANK YOU!!❤
Ответитьumm any alts websites like storyblocks (ofc for free) ; (
ОтветитьBest fusion tut out there 🎉 thanks
Ответить💯
Ответитьreally liked the guitar effects pedal analogy. however, if you were a true rock star this video would have had some chicks or smoke and lights or maybe some ransacked hotel rooms or something. otherwise, good video :)
ОтветитьFusion is one of the things keep me from fully making the jump from Adobe suite to DaVinci resolve. I think I could do a lot of what I do in AE, but MUCH slower. However, I will definitely switch to DaVinci for replacing Premiere. Premiere is a glitchy mess.
ОтветитьI can’t even figure out how to have the 2 views on.
Ответитьactually where to find 3 button mask in fusion page sir
Ответитьdavinci resolve sucks. It crashes too much and is complicated to do simple things. Sometimes can't even see my media im trying to track in fusion. Never been so frustrated with a program before.
ОтветитьYou introduced me to davinci resolve and filmora, now story block. I love your tutorials man :)
ОтветитьThanks for the explanation. Very clear and useful. And thanks for the storyblocks advertising! I was looking for something called "Movie Blocks" but couldn't find anything, and it happens to be that the name was incorrect 😂😁
ОтветитьGreat video Daniel. You made everything so clear and relatable. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
ОтветитьOh man that was easily the best video ive watched, i loved the analogies!
ОтветитьI have made the switch to Davinci from FCP. But I have really struggled to get going with it. Today, this tutorial flipped a switch and now I am finally seeing the "light". Thank you.
ОтветитьSir, you are a fantastic teacher. The guitar example did the trick for me! NOW, I have my first clue about fusion 😎. Thank you so much for investing your time in this.
ОтветитьYou seriously know how to teach dude. Awesome vid
ОтветитьI just started using Davinci from Premiere Pro. What a difference!! And I do have to say that you are a great teacher for us "NOOBS"! Thank you because you simplify things to make it easier to get started.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks mate
ОтветитьBeen watching your videos since your Filmora days and you are absolutely the best TEACHER out there. Your scripting, pace, dialog, clear diction all come together to make fantastic instructional videos. However, I think this “simple” explainatoin of how to do a couple of simple things in Resolve just convinced me to stick with FCPX for now. I’ll keep watching your videos because I love to learn from a master.
ОтветитьAnother great video. Thanks. Tim
ОтветитьNicely done Daniel, It explains Fusion in a creative musician sort of way that anyone can understand. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьSo... Fusion is DaVinci's After Effects got it 👍🏾
ОтветитьExcellent Narration to understand the content in a easy way to a beginner...thanks a lot Daniel
ОтветитьDaniel! OMFG! THANK YOU!!! Looks like the end of Filmora for me, finally! As a guitarist myself, this made sooo much sense, if I can figure out a 15 pedal combo, I can do Fusion easy!!
Ответитьreally appreciate your simp tut....where others over complicate, u simplify! tx
ОтветитьWell done!!! As a music producer, this tutorial was really good for me. I am an absolute noob with Fusion :)
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьAmazing explanation, dude!
ОтветитьThank you for such a clear tutorial. Very helpful. I am very new to Davinci Resolve and your vid has given me the tools to go and experiment on my own. That's all I needed! Blessings kind Sir.
ОтветитьCool, being a musician myself the explanatory piece where you compared the fusion page to a guitar effects plugin makes all sense to me now.
I honestly dodged that step because it looked like too much effort, I should've figured it out as it is very similar to adding plugin effects to my DAW like Reaper for example.
Have you done a tutorial on color grading? New sub.
Thanks for the video.
Is fusion a short cut?
ОтветитьFirst off, I'm also a guitarist who is actually starting to make diy effects pedals (which is definitely a complex endeavor). So the whole guitar-to effect-to amp analogy makes perfect sense. And when you're dealing with more "effects pedals" then the order they are arranged can greatly affect the final "sound" from the "amp". I'm betting that is similar with how the nodes are arranged in Fusion. Also, I haven't really messed with Fusion at all yet cuz I just downloaded Davinci yesterday, but as I'm scrolling through all the different tutorial videos I keep seeing these thumbnails that make Fusion seem SO SUPER complicated.
But I'm not too worried about it because in addition to being pretty proficient with pretty much all the Adobe software, including After Effects, I actually studied animation in college; everything from the simple 2D Looney Toons type of stuff to the more complex 3D Pixar type of stuff. A lot of that animation software gets VERY complicated. Right off the bat, "keyframes" are kind of the most important aspect of animation (I'm pretty sure that's where the term "keyframe" comes from. I know it's the first time I ever heard the term). So I'm very familiar with the concept of keyframes. And the 3D modeling and animation software requires working with nodes a lot, mostly rigging characters to make them actually "move". All the "bones" and "joints" of a character are connected by nodes, and how they are all arranged can literally make or break your character. If one node is out of place, or not connected in the right place, then it can set off a chain reaction that affects everything else in that chain. And the more complex the rig is, the more nodes you need to deal with and the more places things can go wrong.
Going back to the guitar analogy, if all you have is one distortion pedal hooked up, then that's pretty simple. If something sounds off, or if there's no sound at all, then the problem is usually not that hard to pinpoint (such as a dead battery in your pedal, a short in one of your patch cables, maybe you have your guitar plugged into the distortion pedal's output rather than the input, etc. (I've actually had all of those issues over the years at different times, lol). However, if you have a whole "pedal board" with several pedals, there are a lot more connections to make, and more effect chain combinations to consider. I have one pedal board with 11 different effect pedals on it! If just one connection is bad it will ruin the whole chain and basically sound like crap, or just not make ANY sound at all!
Yeah, I'm sure that Fusion is more complicated than I'm anticipating. I don't want to get too cocky about it. I'll most definitely have my fair share of frustrating hours trying to figure it all out. That was definitely the case when I was learning all of that complicated animation software. But I ain't scare of you, Fusion! Bring it! LOL
dude this really helped me get an idea of what fusion is. before this i was really confused. thank you so much. u earned my sub 👍
ОтветитьThank you. It was a simple scare-free explanation of the fusion. Made me feel better to dig into fusion.
Just a suggestion, I play guitar so could understand it, but for those unfamiliar with guitar, the guitar example can be confusing.
please make a fairlight tutrial it feels more scary to mee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответитьyou just named the obvious, how do you scroll through time line using keyboard so it's easier to set keyframes? also is there an easier way to see keyframes?
ОтветитьGrate tutorial for an absolute noob like me 😊 Thanks a lot! 🙏
ОтветитьPls I’d like to know how you made the the circles and arrows to point out what you’re talking about. A video on this would be fantastic!
Great job explaining this top btw !
Thanks sir
Resolve would be perfect if it wasn't for Fusion. It's literally the hardest thing I ever tried to learn. I couldn't give more time to it so now I edit in Resolve but still do all my VFX in After Effects. Motion Graphics in Fusion is just horrible. I wish Black magic would add a layer based option at least for motion Graphics
Ответитьthis is really helpful
ОтветитьThanks for the video, this has helped me a lot with my project! For some of the clips in the project they were shot on a green screen, so I had to pair the moving background and my footage in fusion. I have created a grade in the color tab I like a lot, but I cannot see an easy way to move this to the fusion page without messing up the color of the background node. Do you have a workaround on this?
ОтветитьThanks Daniel! Although I am not a musician that guitar and pedal analogy really hit home, it made total sense to me. I had a lot of people saying its like a layer like in photoshop or lightroom but that made it confusing. Guitar pedals (and I guess general circuitry) just made much more sense. You earned a sub :)
ОтветитьDear sir, Video was super amazing and it helped me a lot but please make a detailed video on fusion page and about every nodes function.
And love from India ❤❤❤
Thank you so so much
