Hey divide, I know this song is about to be on its 4th birthday in a couple of months, but I just thought I'd let you know that before this song showed up on my recommended, I didn't know who I was. I had just lost my dad, and I was kicked out of my college. As you can imagine, I was devastated and probably at my lowest point. Then, one of my friends recommended your music. I enjoyed it. Then this song showed up, and I nearly broke out sobbing. You have no idea how much this song helped me get out of my funk. Just wanted to say thank you and I hope you continue making great music.

I listened to this once all the way thrpugh and then got my guitar to learn it. I figured it out pretty quickly. There are no tabs available yet on ultimate guitar, so if you want to know the chords, on guitar, capo on the 1st, chords are Em, C, G, D. You can move the capo around or take it off so have it in your vocal range, but if you want to do it easy, thats the chords and capo placement

What a brilliant song. This absolutely encapsulates how Iroh spoke to Zuko, or rather the wisdom he was trying to convey even when spoken in subtext. At the same time, we can hear Iroh as if he is speaking to each of us in our own journeys of finding ourselves. Whoever wrote these lyrics truly understood these characters. The tone and emotion of the song were perfect. Beautifully done.

After listening to this song a lot I got the sense Divide Music probably thought about the advice Uncle Iroh would've given Zuko, since to me the song sounds like Advice Uncle Iroh would've given Zuko and even the fans plus Uncle Iroh did everything he could for Zuko even trying to help him realize that his father wasn't worthy of the title and that it wasn't worth all the pain he was going through just to get the Fire Lords love. Iroh was a father figure to an entire generation and this song shows his struggle when it came to helping Zuko realize his true destiny, just like how Iroh figured out in the end his own destiny wasn't Conquering ba sing se for the fire nation, but it was taking it back.

Everyone needs an Iroh in their life, even if they lost their honor.

This song is so beautiful and a perfect fit for uncle Iroh, its actually what he preaches to prince Zuko and that makes it even more beautiful.

This song got me crying, my father (who is alive and well) would always be there for me. I will admit I was a brat sometimes and didn’t listen. But no matter what he loved me.
