For some reason I can't change my settings for Output to advance settings in OBS it says I need to turn off all video output devices but I do not have any connected. Please Help!!

I got a little lost. Can you use these settings for streaming as well or is this just for video recording with gameplay and cam? I'd love to be able to stream while being able to use that file and manipulate separate video sources, ie Cam, game, and window sources in edit.

Really good video, my guy! Helped me optimize my own recordings. And the stream settings video would be very much appreciated, too! Gotta brush up and double check if I'm still using the optimum.

And one thing I may suggest for the future... is maybe have a troubleshooting video for browser sources sometimes not working.

My stream alerts widget from Streamlabs sometimes doesn't work on one scene, but always works in another scene where it's the only source. So I end up having to switch between scenes until it works in the scene I want it to, before streaming.

I've done every troubleshooting thing out there apart from a clean uninstall + reinstall + setup from the ground up, which I fear would take me so long, given I only have free time on weekends. 😢

I didn't really see how exactly we can record with that One Profile, and also stream on another profile. Does that work simulatneously?

Are there other editors besides premiere pro that can accept the multiple audio tracks? I've recently bought Power Director 365 and it only see's one Track. So does Davinci Resolve.

I view the file in Audacity wth FFMPEG plugin and I can see all the audio tracks.

I'm not trying to pay the premiere subscription fee, so I need a better budget editor that does the same with audio tracks.

just out of curiosity why did you choose nvenc h264 rather than nvenc hevc? is it because its soooooo much easier to edit? cuz other than that isnt hevc way better in compression and quality/bit? i choose to switch to hevc soloy for this reason lol

To record both game and webcam separately I find that the vertical aitum plugin is a good option, you just need to set the resolution in it and boom. Also a good option if you want to record the gameplay without all the stream overlays while keeping them on stream

Can't stream with the double wide recording concept thought right? Otherwise they'd see it as that. Double wide.

Fragmented mp4/mov should make sure files don’t get corrupted so no need for mkv and remuxing anymore! Plus AV1 and 32 bit float audio options as well! Cheers!

This was extremely helpful. I guess i'm a sicko because I didn't know to change the audio to vertical. but I will now. lol This also helped me know how to split audio, that's awesome. didn't know I could do that.

Please do a streaming one...Please but also how to separate the the webcam although it should be the same principal.
