2024 - 2022 Lexus NX Part 2 - Deep Dive Tutorial

To both Northside Lexus and Melissa O'Connell: The term, "thank you" just does not adequately express my gratitude for your videos. I am on the West Coast, but watched MANY of the videos (completely) with Melissa O'Connell and they helped me to decide on the purchase of a 2024 Lexus NX 350h. Her detailed descriptions and concise instructions helped give the ability to make an educated decision and confidence in my choice. If I lived in Texas I would be your most loyal customer. Can I ask you a question? How can I keep the doors locked after I turn off the engine while I park at the parking lot to take a nap? Do I need to go to the auto lock setting and turn it off? And for my NX 350H, I don't have a "door auto lock" selection. Is that selection for the Luxury package only? (I only have premium package) My car does auto-lock by itself while I am driving. Please let me know how to keep the doors remain locked after I turn off the engine. Thank you.

Hi, Could I import contacts from iPhone to Lexus app, so I don’t need the iPhone to search destination. On older Lexus there is contacts import. Please advise

Hi Melissa, great and informative video! I've just bought a new Lexus and I was wondering if there's a setting to turn off the feature where you simply place your hand near the door handle to lock/unlock the car. These cars are in high demand for being stolen, and if possible disabling this feature could help protect my Lexus from theft. I'd rather lock/unlock the car with just my key fob.

How do you adjust the information on the multidisplay in the combo meter? How to adjust the elapse time to reflect real time after every start?

Hi Melissa - still having ongoing problems with my charging pad not charging my iPhone 12 mini - mainly charging for a few moments then stops. Not sure if you have had any update from Lexus. Seems to be a common problem across NX owners.

Great job Melissa! Many thanks for both series of tutorial. Unfortunately Lexus does not treat US and European customers in the same way because our Lexus application ( called Lexus Link) provides no more than 10% of US one - so, furious with the Lexus, I can only watch it's functions.

thank you so much :) I've just bought nx recently, these two videos were super helpful :) just a little bit upset since being from europe is not the best thing for lexus owner... we have a completely different app and online services here...no mobile keys, remote. starting enging, lock/unlock... but I guess it still could probably be worse :D so thanks again!

I'm curious if it's possible to set the cameras into a recording mode so they could operate on a similar manner to a dash cam. If there's any way of doing this I'd love to know and I'm sure a few other owners of the new platform would love to know it too

Hello, I have a 2023 NX350 Sport. All of a sudden the doors will not lock from the door handle. I touch the lock area and I get a long beep. The mirrors go in and back out. It will lock with the app, though. Also, I do have a digital key.
Can you offer some advice, please?

I am very sorry to bother you, Melissa, but I am trying to reset the feature that tells the system to keep the auxiliary power ON, after the vehicle has been powered OFF. I didn't understand the setting, when I made it. Now I want to have the auxiliary power to turn OFF when the engine is turned OFF, but I can't find where that change is made. I REALLY tried to find it on my car, and in your videos. Sorry for the trouble...

Great informative video. Thanks ive noticed sometimes the apple car play doesnt connect automatically in my lexus nx 350 f sport luxury vehicle what should i do in that situation. Also with the cruise control after you turn it on it keeps the speed you were last traveling at in the bottom right corner how do i remove that?

Fantastic. Is it possible to get assistance for coming out of the garage? Our parking place in the basement has a 90-degree angle to come out or come in. So it is a little difficult to come out each time. I am wondering if there is any option to get help from NX.

Hi Melissa, for some reason when I say Hey Lexus whats the weather for this week, it says it verbally, but I no longer get the weather displayed on the screen. All it shows is a blue screen with an x in the upper left hand corner that I have to touch to get out of it. Do you know what could be wrong? Your help is appreciated.

I have a new NX350h that I got added to the app after having to reach out to support. I have the remote and drive connect trial for 3 years but for some reason when I click on 'Remote and Sharing', it only shows the button for Hazards. Do you know why that is?

How do you turn on the rear exterior doorknob lights ? Right now i only have the front one on?
