Since you posted this video, the side stick has clearly undergone some revision. Have just bought the pack that includes the flap and spoiler quadrant but the main difference is with the side stick itself. On mine, the cable is fully removeable and there are at least five extra buttons. I don't know if the action has changed as I cannot directly compare the two, but my sidestick has reasonable resistence. Of course I've never flown an actual Airbus but I think this kit is brilliant!
ОтветитьHow do we know you are in fact "a real A320 pilot"? Wanna disclose your airline and the pilot ID?
ОтветитьI bought the combo with the Throttle, at first it was frustrating controlling the aircraft's throttle because you are not used to it. After 2 weeks with practice I developed a skill so it worked out fine. A Quick note: it wont work on 4 Engine Aircraft, it throttles only 2 engines even if you use the 4 Engine switch at the bottom of the throttle. They have to fix that glitch. Its really just good for single and airbus aircrafts.
ОтветитьHow has this worked out over the past couple years? Is it accurate in its sensors?
ОтветитьDoes it work on Xbox
ОтветитьAre there hard mounting points like sim racing gear to a rig? I'm very much looking into doing both in 1 rig, or are these to just sit on a desktop?
ОтветитьOverall on the video it looks very cheap :( Not sure if it really is but it looks that way. Disappointing coming from TM who in my mind set the gold standard with the TM Warthog by which I measure pretty much everything (and everything falls short) in build quality.
ОтветитьI like the look of the throttle quadrant but I'm so tired of TM reskinning the exact same joystick year after year.
ОтветитьCan you use it for ps4 and xbox
ОтветитьThat throttle and joystick are very plastic :P and they are way too lightweigh!
Ответитьwould this work with a Cessna?
ОтветитьHow does it sit on a desk mat or does it just slide around?
ОтветитьThanks for the Review! Very informative. Three questions: What is the trigger on the sidestick in the real A320 for? Second: which throttles are controlled with the throttlequadrant in a 4 engine plane? Is it still possible to manage all engines? Last but not least: Is the configuration really that hard?
EDIT: Ok first question was answered in your Video, top!
Does this particular version work on Xbox?
ОтветитьDoes reverse thrust levers work?
ОтветитьCan anyone confirm if this is compatible with the Xbox ??
Ответитьyou you reccomend this for "arcady flight shooters"?
Ответитьwhat is the trigger for in real airbus joy stick?
Ответитьgarbage video
ОтветитьI’ve just picked both of these up from Amazon for £95 for the pair! Can’t wait to get these dialled in 😁
ОтветитьDo both of your thrust levers make a clicking sound when moved forward individually? Cuz on mine only the left throttle lever makes a clicking sound.
ОтветитьCan I use this on my Xbox Seires S
ОтветитьTCA officer pack Airbus edition is compatible with Xbox serie x?
Ответитьcan i use it with any plane in msfs 2020?
Ответитьwith an a380 a340 or some other 4 engine aircraft how do you control all four engines, is there some sort of addon?
ОтветитьCan I use this on my xbox one
Ответитьhi great review just wondering if the throttle will work with a pmdg 737. thanks
ОтветитьGood day! I just bought the Thrustmaster Tca Airbus edition officer pack, however my problem with the throttle quadrant is that when I play X-Plane 11, the aircraft is a Flight Factor A350 for your information, when I put the throttle quadrant at idle, the throttles of the FF A350 are not at idle. It only went idle when I used the reverse thrust on the throttle quadrant. So there is no reverse on the plane either. I hope this can catch your attention on this matter. Thank you and have a good day ahead.
ОтветитьIts called a joystick if its for gaming its a side stick if its on the plane
ОтветитьGreat video. But witch button is for elevator trim ?.
ОтветитьAs an owner of the these products, I have to say that it’s pretty cool to get a feel for flying Airbuses on flight simulators. The joystick and throttle feel great. However, after flying 3 hours with the throttle and joystick, I have concluded that the throttle is very sensitive, and trying to fly larger aircraft is no easy task.
ОтветитьIf only it was made from metal i would be willing to pay the extra cost if this was the case.
ОтветитьGot this stuck because my dad is a A320 captain for United and thought this was too cool not to have for that reason.
ОтветитьHi. Have you used this for smaller planes like the Cessna? If so, how does it fair out?
ОтветитьI’d love to see an review of the Hotas warthog. Heeps of people have been saying it’s really similar to a real aircraft. But it’s very expensive at 899
ОтветитьDoes it come with sticker you can put on the base of the sidestick?
Ответитьin the whole ting, the most important part is left out...THE TRIM!!
i mean im no pilot, but for me keep the plane stable is the most important and you do that with the trim, who cares abount brake locks?!?! trim...it needs the trim.
Have you changed the sensitivity curves on the side stick at all? To get a more accurate feel?
ОтветитьCan it be hard mounted with bolts ...?
Ответитьi actually got one
ОтветитьI am very sorry to desagree. It looks and it is fragile long way from what Thrustmaster once was. Everything feels fragile and low quality. If this this to fight Logitech ...no way.
Its somethng good for play not for a real simulator, ence price.
Its a lovely video. Keep up the good work
Is it only for windows 8, 10?
ОтветитьNice video. Does it good only for Airbus or it is good for any aircraft in the simulator MSFS 2020?
ОтветитьIf you use the throttle can you still use single engine aircraft?
ОтветитьYou mentioned in your TCA Thrustmaster Captain Pac that you were still using the Saitek/Logitech rudder pedals. I would like to do this as well don't know however how to connect the pedals. Can one run Saitek and TCA simultaneously, could you pleas give me advise?
ОтветитьHi, I recently purchased the Thrustmaster Officer pack Airbus Edition. However, I am facing issues in configuring proper throttle detent settings. The physical device is okay. I am facing issues inside the game. I have the A32NX Flybywire Add-on installed. Can someone please help?
So the issues are:
I start with when the throttle is idle in both the game and the actual physical device. The moment I touch the throttle physically, in MSFS it is going default at Climb detent.
2. Physical Device: At Rev Full. In MSFS = Also At Rev Full. This is the first correct setting I am getting.
3. Physical Device: At Rev Idle. In MSFS = Somewhere between Idle and Climb.
4. Physical Device: Idle. In MSFS = Climb detent position.
5. Physical Device: Just 4-5mm above Idle. In MSFS = Flex MCT detent position.
6. Physical Device: At Climb detent position. In MSFS = 3-4mm Slightly below TOGA
7. Physical Device: Flex MCT detent position. In MSFS = TOGA
8. Physical Device: TOGA. In MSFS = TOGA. This is the second correct setting I am getting which is matching both physically and in-game.
I tried all this in the stable version of A32NX.
Someone, please help.
"After the necessary inspection from the house cat..." Cat thinking:
- Hey! You must address me properly as your captain!
It's so nice to have an actual comparison vs a real aircraft
ОтветитьIs there a flight simulator/game anyone can recommend? Something for a beginner.
