Can you please share your opinion on the difference between "UI/UX designer" and "Product designer"? Do Uber have people in both of these roles or only product designer ?

I'm trying to figure out where I sit after transitioning from a "Digital designer" role, when you do visual layouts, do you tend to use an existing design system? or do you make changes/create new components.

would be nice to have a product designer, too bad I design with basically no input and develop everything lol

I loved this video! Your videos very useful with me to learn more about a day in Uber company. Also, I'm from Vietnam and working in product company like you, but I've difficult with organize files and design pages scientifically (easy to clone to other flatform, layout for dev implement, spec,...). Could you share with me some tip about structure files like Uber, how to manage pages to easy find, layout components in a pages with separate task,...??? Thank you for your helping <3

Haha when you said 3-4 hours of meetings per day, i felt that! I have a pretty similar day as a product designer, standup daily, product sync, and various other meetings and user testing sessions. I too am trying to figure out the balance of it all to be most productive, will update you if I figure it out 😆💕

Product designer's day is full of meetings !!

This video made me aware of much I could improve physical movement throughout the work day, even when busy. I try to walk during lunch, but otherwise I struggle to get out of my chair. 😬

I'm trying to make it, I'm trying not to waste time, I'm trying to get focused in the rest 19 minutes, I'm trying to catch up my calendar and make it to check my email in time. I feel that this is a permanent process trying to get your own zen and never get it for real.
