What is the substitute for beer?
ОтветитьCan't believe that Martha Stewart grated her potato's that way instead of the traditional way using the fine side of the hand grater. The way she did it is the lazy way and is the same as eating hash browns with breakfast.
ОтветитьDoesn’t look eighty plus
ОтветитьEven though Martha was by herself, she still made this beautiful traditional holiday meal. I LOVE that she took the time to celebrate this special dinner and share it with community. I respect this classy lady.
ОтветитьI make these all the time. They always come out perfect. Thank you!
ОтветитьBlood in the eggs, sacrelige
ОтветитьOther than the fact that one cannot use beer or flour on Passover (for which Martha has intended this recipe be used), it looks great. I would substute some baking powder and some water for the beer, and matzoh meal or potato starch for the flour. However, her recipe would be good as is any other time of year.
ОтветитьThey are sooo good 💕
ОтветитьDoesn’t the beer make it taste bitter…???
Ответить"It didn't make sense then, and it doesn't make sense now." scraping my fingers on the grater.
ОтветитьHow much flour per potato?
ОтветитьOur mother used to cook grated yam
ОтветитьI want to know more about Martha and how she grew up. Any recommendations on a program I can watch or read?
ОтветитьCanola oil? Eeeewwww!
ОтветитьDid this yesterday with zucchini. No beer but tiniest pinch of ground red pepper. Used less than 1/4 c of olive oil for frying 3 cups of vegetables.

I love these less polished videos! Martha needs to come back to this whenever she gets an idea and just wants to share it on the spot. Her team definitely could make this work!
ОтветитьExcellent Martha, thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьLove Martha!🌞
ОтветитьLove Martha (since late 1990s) & her sweet felines.
But, holy hell -- lighting in her kitchen makes her look like a horror movie.
Seriously??
Hey Martha! Love ya kid!
ОтветитьSader? Really.
ОтветитьI knew I could depend on auntie Martha to put some stank on it 😂 the added touch of beer is sending 😊

ОтветитьLatkes? For Pesach? And with beer and flour yet?? I'm out!
ОтветитьIf this is for a Passover seder, you should NOT be using flour or beer! Okay for Hanukkah, but not for the Unleavened holiday.
ОтветитьVery delicious - have to try. Thank you!!
ОтветитьFantastic!
ОтветитьI love love you .. and boy do I miss your mom .. like I miss my papa !
ОтветитьIf you were serving the latkes with beef brisket you couldn't serve them with sour cream otherwise you'd be breaking every kosher food law there is.
ОтветитьLat-kuhs NOT lot-keys 🤦♀️
