I am not an english speaker, I am from Europe, so I did not understood at all what he did when he started generating profits from the "selling the membership" idea for the gyms. What was he doing before, was he a personal trainer at various gyms? Everything was narrated too fast, assuming that the viewer already is aware of the whole story and the details. But it is the first video I see from him. Anyway, I do not go to the gym, I do callisthenics training, at home or in the park, exactly because I do not want to give any money to people like him, that produce nothing basically. All those people are parasites, in contrast to the farmers, and clothes makers, and house builders.

I scaled from 0 to 90 units in less than 5 years while working a full time W-2. I started with single family homes and transitioned to small apartment complexes. You become a millionaire during the recession. This is the time to learn how to get off market deals, negotiate, and do creative financing. If you focus during the recession, you can get rich in the next 3 years!

So in your conversation with your dad you told him that you could make him a 239,000$ extra if he pays you 42,000? My question is how do you make your clients that kind of money exactly?? When we reach the bottom it normally does give cataliyst for great change. Making that change happen is a big step!
