He did a good job but it still can't touch the original. His version has a bunch of highs

ОтветитьAs an engineer since 1986: What a load of masturbatory crap.
ОтветитьK哥很國際的......出國比賽,拿金牌!!!
ОтветитьThis record is just amazing and seeing it come to life is insane.. does anybody know the name of that meter block he has on the table top on the right? Great video, felt like I was there
ОтветитьSteve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro!
ОтветитьBrilliantly done but I'm seeing missing parts one being the iconic knocking sound at the start of the rift and possibly an oh no.
Ответить45 years ago I had a 16tr studio with a 16tr Steve Wadey valve 2" tape machine. Now I'm 70 half deaf, really down at the 2Khz mark. Brings back the memories of the knob twiddling, those moments when you reckon the mix is there and like him you stand back as you hit play, hovering over the faders.
ОтветитьGreat mix on a console, but SSL is the biz along with the earlier Neve equipment. Crisp and clear mix sir
Ответитьamazing

Ответить這位神人是誰?
ОтветитьI’d love to learn more about this engineer. Awesome work well done 👏🏼

Ответить👍🏻✅
ОтветитьListening to those vocals gives me chills 🔥🔥🔥 pure talent
ОтветитьWas watching, listening and tapping my foot...and then Eddie Van Halen came through my headphones and instant goosebumps! What an incredible track beginning to end. So many layers.
Ответитьnot bad. appreciate the treble on the guitar. alot of mixes will simply truncate the treble instead of sculpting it and letting the track breath.
I'm guessing these vocals were compressed at the recording and not in post?? they're a bit hotter than the original but I'm not sure what's going on there.
anyways, good work on the highs.
sounds nice and crispy.
i don't like soggy lettuce. 👍🏼👍🏼
