Where can I get one
ОтветитьI etch all my photos and documents on to a stone tablet.
ОтветитьiCloud can sync it to all your devices though, and you’re potentially leaving your files or photos in the open without any form of security in the SD card, but if you really want to do it this way, at least get a descent sized SSD drive.
ОтветитьBut iCloud is damn handy because it syncs everything to any device
Ответить😂⚰️🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhat if your data corrupts
ОтветитьI had this idea to buy a usb cable and transfer my files to an external drive 🤔
ОтветитьA NAS could be a better alternative
ОтветитьMind blowing 🤯😵💫😵🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhat a hassle.
ОтветитьThis doesn’t replace cloud storage at all.
ОтветитьMeh 50gb is good enough and only a dollar
ОтветитьGreat tip❤
ОтветитьiCloud >>>>>>>>> physical storage
ОтветитьYou know you can just do backups to your Mac through finder?
ОтветитьWhy not email yourself and keep it there🧐
Ответить“Dont Have To Pay money” Um the Items You Showed Were not Free but they where chaeper and for versatile so Thanks (N0 HAT3)
ОтветитьThis defeats the purpose of cloud storage. If that card is lost, destroyed, stolen, then your data is gone. Also you need to bring it around with you and plug it into every device you use to access it, while cloud storage syncs up with everything.
ОтветитьiCloud is not so much a storage concept but used to synch between all devices like phone, iPad, laptop etc.
Ответитьyou just killed the reason why Cloud was intvented.
ОтветитьSD card is a good option, but it’s a CLOUD solution.
ОтветитьScrap, cloud backups are the only way
ОтветитьIt’s only a 1$
ОтветитьThx
ОтветитьWhat about files? Documents?
ОтветитьNah, just copy it over to an SSD. I personally use Dropbox to backup photo and video so it's cross platform. I pay the $1 a month for iCloud 50g to store my documents, like taxes, IDs etc so I can access It easily between my iPhone and Mac etc.
ОтветитьDo this for photos and videos since if phone stolen and passcode changed, you loose everything. You can contact banks & businesses, etc., but you'll never get pics and vids back.
ОтветитьNice tips! Considering to use laptop or this.
ОтветитьIf your going to do this just get a external hard drive that can actually be kept long term and store TB worth of data.
You do miss out on cloud storage conveniences regardless. Best case use both HD and cloud
Actually I just print out everything and keep it in a file cabinet. Don't need to pay for an SD card
Ответитьvery absurd solution. That memory card is prone to read error, being stolen etc.
ОтветитьSD card or Flash Drive? Which is best?
ОтветитьWow great idea thanks 👍
ОтветитьSD cloud 😂
ОтветитьThe whole point of cloud is to have the convenience of access anywhere anytime.
ОтветитьOr just go android 😂😂
ОтветитьUSB adapter is better solution. I connect to thumbdrive
ОтветитьOnce I had done this but the SD card got corrupted .. and all my 100GB+ data gone
ОтветитьI forgot, the Apple, SD card reader is not $19 nor was it ever, and I bought it when it first came out, and I believe I paid $35 for it, which is kind of reasonable, considering Apple is not. Also, a large SD card, or even a small one, usually runs between $15-$20, alone, so you are misleading people when you say this will only cost them $19 because that is just simply not true. If you're going to make a suggestion, then please be honest with all of the facts, and if you don't know, then simply say that. Thank u!
ОтветитьThis only works for photos, so what is your answer for notes, files, voice, memos, voicemails, & text messages. In other words, you cannot clone the phone by simply using your method, but there used to be cloning cables that enabled that, or the Kingston mobile lite, & many of these devices are modalities are no longer available. This really sucks, so if anybody, has any suggestions, can you please respond back to me. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьKinda misses the point of having a cloud service. The point is it’s all synced to your devices without doing anything about.
Ответитьnot the same thing fam
ОтветитьTerrible advice. 😂 i pay for scalability, for security ( in case your ssd card got damage) and sync between my devices in real time information that I am storing. So No, your advice unfortunately is a No
ОтветитьBro what if I loose it I’ll kill you
ОтветитьHow much is that Item you have?
ОтветитьAt this point why bother 😒
ОтветитьBro is only 1,29 a month
ОтветитьUse cloud for accessing files anywhere. Self-host or buy them expensive ones from companies 🥲
Max we must store locally ( unless we have self cloud ! ). Better use external storage like computer, HDD, SSD. MicroSD too expensive. SD card too. SD cards very slow. SSD or HDD better
But stinky Apple better stop that usb 2.0 speed port in iPhone
And i hated iOS back in 3 and 4s cuz no file manager and lot more restrictive
Also, can we send files to Windows and Android with Bluetooth or is it still restricted ?
What's the way to transfer files to PC now a days ?
Since when did the prices rise? I’m still paying the old prices
ОтветитьNot safe, anyone steal it, data is gone
Single point of failure - if card broke/damage - data can’t be recovered
