The film was so good and so underrated.
ОтветитьChalamet is Wonka.
ОтветитьTimothee Chalamet is our generation’s Daniel Day Lewis.
ОтветитьI liked it because of its brutal honest setting and the relative strength of will that the King espoused. But he wasn't a superman, he was presented as a human. I dislike most movies where the protagonist is 'magical' in his or her abilities. The King was just a good stoic.
ОтветитьDune shows how great an actor TC is. This film not so much
ОтветитьOkay movie, good acting, utter pants. Falstaff as a hero merely made Henry V seem weaker and less certain than he was. It added nothing of any importance to the original plays. It was very disappointing. Adaptation should alter and improve the original source material
ОтветитьHistorical inaccurate. And biased.
ОтветитьLol. The movie was such a steaming pile of shit, an ill-conceived Saturday-morning cartoon version of history. It's quite a hilarious spectacle to see Netflix, the very ass that birthed this shit then drones on about how meticulously-crafted and true to history it is.
ОтветитьTommen Baratheon
ОтветитьTimothee was mesmerizing in this movie, he was so darn good.
Ответитьsurprised they didn't make him black and trans
ОтветитьThen Joan of Arc came
Ответитьthat French dude didnt send the ball. His advisor did.
ОтветитьYea nice history lesson. The French didn't have longbows.
Ответитьwhoever made this... I want to see more content from this person
ОтветитьMissing a grandmother telling us the king was black
ОтветитьOk movie but so historically inaccurate. Henry was pro war with France and wanted to make a name for himself. You can even say he started the 100 years war
ОтветитьWe few, we happy few, we band of brothers…
ОтветитьHenry was poisoned by his wife for killing her brother
ОтветитьThere's a video of the arrowhead extraction tool and it's pretty gruesome
ОтветитьAegon V "The Unlikely"
ОтветитьBut was the "fake assassin" based in real life?
ОтветитьWorst movie ever instead Robert Pattinson should be the main actor but not 😡
ОтветитьWon't even go past the intro.
Blatant lie about him not being groomed to be a king. If you go off Shakespearean take, then acknowledge that as it is.
He had a pretty stable relationship with his father.
All the information about his upbringing, education and desires is actually within reach one google search away.
The movie failed to depict a historically accurate picture of the grotesque enough without any fantasy on Netflix's side events.
There were no taunts on dauphine's side, he was not even the main antagonist historically and didn't take arms during events of Agincourt.
Taunt was a casus belli on english side thrown in together with real claims over Normandy.
Netflix took a Shakespearean piece, brutalized it and slapped a 'true story, trust me bro' over its corpse.
Shakespeare wrote about Elizabethan era and thus characters depicted the way they are, cause they were not supposed to resemble themselves, but rather his, Shakespeare's, contemporaries
Major L, Netflix
Once upon a time a skinny pretty little actor played a gay boy in a low-budget movie. To his horror it was a huge success and suddenly he had millions of gay fans. That was not all what he wanted. He wanted to be a big Hollywood star. He turned to his agent who had the solution: "Don't worry, I'll get some real macho roles for you. We'll soon put this in the past." "Won't I look ridiculous playing those sort of roles when I'm so skinny and pretty?" "Of course you will, but don't worry nobody will dare say so ... Here, start with this one: Henry V ..."
ОтветитьThis video is so wrong, why is the Union flag there and why has he highlighted England and the entirety of Britain
ОтветитьOkay its me. I really fancied Cillian Murphy for years. Now i fancy Timothee, why when muddied does he look so much like Cillian😅
ОтветитьScotland?
ОтветитьThis is a weird telling of the history of these events. You hit most of the major points but also make many blunders, its mostly fine but weird none the less.
Ответитьdefinitely hits different when I read Shakespeare's Henry V and Richard II
ОтветитьJust saw this and even days later still letting it sink in. Thats how I know it was a great film.
ОтветитьThis film is a shame for french peoples
ОтветитьI love how in this movie Pattinson is the french guy and Chalamet is the english. Gotta love the irony.
ОтветитьWhat is the German word for Henry? Heinrich
Heinrich (German pronunciation: [ˈhaɪ̯nʁɪç] ( listen)) is a German given name of ancient Germanic origin and cognate of Henry. Female forms are Henrike and Henriette.
🤓Wow
ОтветитьThe arrow did not get lodged in the back of a skull you got lodged in the front of his skull
ОтветитьI like the movie but I still think this should have been a mini-series pleeeeaaase
ОтветитьHe was basically too op to keep living
ОтветитьThis movie is amazing.
ОтветитьI never enjoy films that aren't historically accurate! I've no idea why movie makers do it. The actual events and aftermath were exciting enough so why change it?
ОтветитьAlways a pleasure to watch a film with the excellent Sean Harris who always adds weight to the characters he plays. Joel Edgerton too is a fine actor, although his character in this case was totally fictious.
Much fiction to this movie, but as a film maker justifying a budget to attract a wider audience, this is a typical case of carte blanch.
A great movie, which I've enjoyed at least a dozen times.
( I would suggest 'The Hollow Crown' with an incredible all-star cast for further medieval enjoyment, albeit a series of Shakespeare plays from Richard II to Richard III)
I got pranked i thought the movie was the real story tf
ОтветитьThe King and The Last Duel are two of the most beautiful and well acted period films of the decade 👍
ОтветитьAll British kings of that era fought with their men personally. Not just him.
ОтветитьCharles THE MAD 🤌😂 King of UOKAY
ОтветитьOne of my favorite movies, but king v was much more of a warrior that was shown in the movie. Everytime he went to France he wooped them when no one else could.
ОтветитьThere's a reason Shakespeare covered this. I always felt the nobles in the background desperately wanted him in and made it happen. This subtlety is in the film, and Henry's V's conflicting emotions and qualities are sublimely brought to life by Chalamée. He was a born warrior king, just not actually born to be a king - so people made him one
Ответитьin the movie i found it kinda of funny how the princess that he is given from the french king basically says your very gullible then he just acts instantly after hearing what she says.
