I do not want the printer connected to the router. It is is another room far away. I need my printer that is in my office turned into a shared printer. Windows will not do it. It is a USB UPS label printer. You should change the title. It is not "any printer" only the ones connected to a router. Thumbs Down.

So misleading. Or you are so stupid that you don’t understand android is printing from windows network. That means printer has to be attached to windows…so what’s the point …say I don’t have PC and I want to print from android via router…it doesn’t print. Ok.

One important step for Windows 10 users is missing, where you have to go to Windows feaures On/off and enable smb file sharing without which the the router usb printer utility do not display the connect Printer. Otherwise the video is awesome..

Hello, though your printer does not have wireless options. The said printer has network capabilities.
Note that this will work only on those printers that have network capabilities.

Any way to print from iOS? Works perfectly from Android (thank you very much!) but I couldn't get it to work from iOS.
Update: so, looks like the problem here is the driver support... And there is a way (not an easy way, but at least it works) to print from iOS devices, as well. Unfortunately, it requires an Apple AirPort Express or Extreme router and an app called Printer Share. But yeah...that's pretty much the only way I found to get this to work.

please clarify, you are basically shifting the USB connection from system to Wifi router? There is no dongle or similar arrangement which can completely avoid USB cable?
