ОтветитьSupper❤
Respect you...,... very very good 👍 job... helpfulness
Thank you it is so helpful!
ОтветитьWhere do you purchase the leather cording to use inside the piping?
ОтветитьLove your videos! You are a great teacher and your voice is very calming. Question- if the Barge cement is not available in my area, would other brands of rubber cement be ok? Thanks!
ОтветитьI am so very impressed of your skills.
Ответитьwhat sort of glue are you using?
ОтветитьGreat teacher
ОтветитьThis is quite the master class. Thank you!
ОтветитьI don't know if doing straight shots and leather work go together well? =)
ОтветитьI’m a novice into leather working and I find your videos and explanations extremely helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьДля быстрого и ровного нанесения клея можно использовать тонкий малярный скотч).
ОтветитьLoved the tutorial 😍😍😍😍
Im a biggener, amateur, love leather and stitching....
That looks so good.
I started making things with leather thanks to you and Little King Goods.
I just started cutting out the pieces to make my first messenger bag and I'm fucking terrified!
I thought this would make a much better edge than I originally planned.
You make this look so easy! Lol
I think when I get home from work I'm gonna try this and see if I can figure this out on scrap and work my way up.
hello, please take a video of how you sharpen the tool for chamfering the end face-a cruiser or a creaser thank you
ОтветитьThank you thank you!!! Best tutorial on piping to date 🙏 🥳
ОтветитьOne of the best tutorial channels out there, thank you for the excellence my man
ОтветитьI like your tutorial, comprehensible instruction with great camera movements and angles of close-up shots. One question for you, why don't you grade the seam allowances?
ОтветитьAwesome !
ОтветитьExcellent instructional video. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat glue are you using?!
ОтветитьСпасибо за подробное объяснение
ОтветитьGreat job!!
ОтветитьQuick question, if you see this. Would it not be a little bit easier to make the area behind your stitch line, essentially the glue area, a bit longer so that the gluing down and stitching is easier? And then trim everything up to make them even and neater?
ОтветитьHi! Can this be stitched with a walking foot? Is there a small enough pressure foot to get into that edge right next to the piping?? I've got a tech-sew coming soon and eager to experiment...
ОтветитьHave you considered making a contact adhesive review video, based on what's available on Amazon? I've been using Aleene's leather and suede glue, but am looking for an accessible Contact adhesive.
ОтветитьA tobacco rolling tray.
ОтветитьI’ve seen 100’s of makers skiving leather and never seen it done so cleanly before and so effortlessly 😎
ОтветитьSo.. You'd always GLUE the piping before sewing? I'm sewing piping onto the top of a car seat back (without gluing first) and it's drifting all over the place ! Thanks.. What type of glue are you using?
ОтветитьI love how you are honest about progressions. "For your first couple tries don't worry about x" "practice this a few times before you worry about curves"
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video! How would this be different if I plan to put piped edges on both sides? Would I need to work completely inside out until the other side is completed as well?
ОтветитьIt ended up looking great! My question is, when the other side is done, it’ll be more difficult to turn right side out. Will all that pushing and pulling end up creasing or marring the leather?
ОтветитьMe encanta tu trabajo!! Tu paciencia al trasmitir tus conocimientos con nosotros!! Intento seguirte pero mi inglés es básico y me pierdo pero seguiré sin duda viendo tus vídeos q me encanta tu trabajo y como nos lo enseñas!! Ahora toca practicar!!
Gracias
I'm not involved in leathercrafting myself, but I can say that the skills you are teaching others are quite valuable if put to use. If the economy keeps going the way it is we may have to start relearning practical skills and living in reality, heaven forfend.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this . Appreciate it
ОтветитьThis is exactly the video i was hoping to find, excelent video, love the narration, you are a great teacher. PS. You sound a little like Brent Spiner from star trek which is cool, pretty sure he narrates audio books.
Ответитьmy edges are getting folds in them as i bend. do you think that could be low quality leather(it's not bad but not the best), or just lack of practice?
ОтветитьGood to learnrd
ОтветитьGreat info as always!
ОтветитьEric, your voice is just soothing. I like the narration and it gives me confidence
ОтветитьWhat sort of glue do you use? It seems so sticky instantly. My contact cement takes for ever to get tacky to the point it could hold itself down.
ОтветитьIs it advisable to soak the piping in water so that it becomes flexible and easy to mold?
ОтветитьNice video! The finished product looks like the tip of a finger
ОтветитьGreat video. I thoroughly love watching.
ОтветитьThank you ;-)
ОтветитьDude, how do you get such amazing skiving results?! It's amazing!

ОтветитьСпасибо большое ДРУГ МОЙ!!!! Очень полезное и интересное видео!!!!☝️
