There are many interesting places to visit around Nagoya. My cousin lives near there!. He enjoys to live in this country. I think it is a huge challenge to introduce yourself for another culture because all society has their own worth!.

Over 45 years ago, I had a "pen-friend" ("pen-pal as we say in Kentucky) in or near Nagoya. No computers then, so we wrote letters and mailed them back and forth. Nagoya certainly looks different than the pictures I received way back in 1976.

名古屋に住んでる人たちは名古屋は生活する街。他の都道府県に海に山に遊びに行くのに便利な所って思ってるからなぁ。だから地元にいい所があっても観光としては見てないからオススメは？と聞かれても困ってしまうw
そもそも知事と市長がアレな人だから観光に期待できないのよ。センスないもんw
意外と知られてないのは、愛知県全体が神社やお寺の数が日本一多いこと。
京都のように有名じゃないから、人が多すぎずゆっくり見ることができる。
あと、ミニシアター天国だから映画好きにはたまらないと思う。

I have visited the castle, railway museum, Inuyama castle, Nagoya Station and even went to Nagoya cinema, and got to see John Wick, however, it turned out that I had already seen it in London. Very nice video. Everyone should visit Nagoya, there's so much to see and do :)

I would recommend choice, for example "Atsuta shrine(Ward of Atsuta Nagoya City)","Arimatsu-town(Ward of Midori Nagoya City)","Osu temple"(Osu Kanzeon.Ward of Naka Nagoya City),"Inuyama Castle"(Inuyama City Aichi Prefecture),and so on.
And gourmet something, for example"Oni Mannjyu"(Limited season sweets in Autumn and Winter. Ingredients→Sweet potato,Wheat powder, and sugar［Or Brown sugar］.Cooking→Steam.)
,"Pasta of Ankake"(This Pasta is very spicy tomato based tenacity style sauce.)"Ramen style of Taiwan"(Very very very hot ramen.Main of ingredient→hot chili).

As an American who has lived in Nagoya for over five years and traveled widely throughout Japan, I'd recommend skipping Nagoya entirely. There is nothing special or noteworthy that cant be found elsewhere in Japan. That includes the food which Japanese will lead you to believe is exclusive to Nagoya but can easily be found in other areas of Japan. Not to mention the people here have a reputation for being cheap and cold.

Thank you for pointing out that we should visit the palace and not just the keep! Most other videos either confuse the two as one place or don't bother mentioning the palace at all.
