What gets me is, I just can't believe that no one noticed anything wrong with him. No one thought 'hmm?? Chris seems a bit odd lately?'
The guy had brain damage. He must have been showing some signs of it? Mood swings, impulsivity, forgetfulness, confusion, wordfinding difficulties.
I've always found the culture of respect around WWE very odd. Experienced pros seem untouchable. It must make it difficult to speak out about them.

Chavo has said on numerous occasions that on Friday evening, Benoit was speaking to him (using the house phone) which was just behind his front door ☎️

There was a knock at the door and as Benoit opened up, Chavo said it sounded as if several men entered and there was a loud struggle with a number of different male voices yelling and shouting 🙄

These calls are scary, I’m almost 20 and I remember seeing Benoit on tv in 2006 and my grandma told me I couldn’t watch it. And I remember my cousin was crying because she told me Benoit passed and i didn’t understood as a kid

Idk, other people are still thinking Chris Benoit was either framed or murdered with his family or he came home finding his family dead then killed himself from heartbreak. Maybe the last Benoit still alive aka David Benoit killed his mother and little brother so it could be only him and daddy except David didn't expect his dad to commit suicide so now he's all alone. Or maybe Chris Benoit was just brain fucked from steroids and head injuries and unintentionally killed his family. Who in the hell knows. However there's a voice message from Chris Benoit sounding like he's trying to keep himself from crying right as you hear what sounds like a kid moaning in the background. Was Chris Benoit held at gunpoint whilst his son was being murdered or raped right in front of Chris before getting murdered? Possibly. The moaning was as if the son was being raped in pain type of moan. I'm just speculating here but that background moan makes you wonder the worst. You hear the moan and then Chris Benoit makes an almost about to start crying sound as he's talking. Talking as if he's held at gunpoint being told what to say on the phone.

The loss of Eddie combined with horrendous head trauma sent him insane.

From watching WWE I did not see any signs from his matches or even promos or interviews that May had occurred after Eddie’s death and his friends death. Now that I’m rewatching those promos and interviews, it makes sense. And Benoit being so socially awkward for years, others didn’t see any signs of it either. That’s why.

Vince McMahon deserves all the credit in the world for making the wwe what it is today. Having said that his hands are soaked in blood Mr. McMahon is a real piece of shit

Chris was changed after Eddie passed and was never the same. Maybe they were a couple or involved sexually is why it hit him so hard. Like losing a spouse to him.

Chris planned to murder Nancy. She was bound and gagged and he pulled a cord around her neck to kill her. That’s not a crime of passion. How did he have time to get those objects in the heat of a fight with her? He then proceeded to drug his son and murder him too. He knew exactly what he was doing and you can’t blame steroids or chair shots to the head for that…

Theres no excuse for what he did but theres an explanation. His brain was equivalent to an 80+ year old with severe alziemers. The Dr couldnt believe how bad the CTE was. This combined with the grief of losing Eddie and substamce abuse. It not an excuse for him killing his wife and kid but it definetly adds context to what happened. Had he not had major CTE and delt with his depression properly im sure none of this would have happened. Its tragic all around. May they all rest in peace.

Hearing Chavos telling of this, the text he received, then hearing this man repeat the text verbatim,is heartbreaking. Not excusing the crime committed, but R.I.P. Benoit Family.
