What is the best way to convert the H265 4K footage to good quality ProRes, I work on a PC
ОтветитьThis video was super useful! I watched it before and after purchasing my X-T3 and i helped a bunch!
ОтветитьThanks for the comparison, it's very helpful but I think your wording may be a bit misleading. The X-T3 forces 8-bit for all h.264 and 10-bit for h.265 so most of what you are seeing is 10-bit vs 8-bit.
ОтветитьWhat is your favorite codec? You must have an beast of an computer to play that H.265 400 Mbps.
ОтветитьCool, thanks for the test.
ОтветитьHome they will introduce the prores raw in next firmware
ОтветитьThank you for the great test effort. Do you think that I can record 4k-60p, 200mbps, h.265 video to UHS-I SDXC (Sandisk V30 Max Read Speed: 170 MB/s and Max Write Speed: 90 MB/s) Card without any issue since the price difference is more than twice?
Ответитьshit buddy, I'm so glad that I discovered your channel 👌👊
ОтветитьWished you would habe said something about 1080 50p and 25p
Ответитьa little help : my premier cs6 on win7 can read h264 hd all intra, but not 4k 50p all-intra (xt3).. why?
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьHello, I was eyeing the 2017 MacBook Pro 1tb ssd 16gb ram over the 27 iMac. That would be more then enough for h265 for the xt3 video editing?
Ответитьwould you tell me if you can record HDMI at 100fps 4-2-2? Thank you
ОтветитьLast question, friend, 120fps has a time limit? record sound? thank you. I want to buy one and those are my doubts 😅
Ответитьwhich card speeds are you using for 4k 10bit 50fps?
ОтветитьCan someone help me with the song from the last part?
Nice review btw
What codec would you recommend as a balance for general purpose shooting, for a slower PC?
ОтветитьDude...time saver...awesome job mate
ОтветитьHow easy or hard is it to edit 120fps in 10-bit 4:2:0 HEVC? Does it require transcoding?
ОтветитьThe 4K50p sample you uploaded, is this ALL-I or Long GOP?
ОтветитьI have shot in Full HD 10BIT ALL-INTRA 400MBPS. I am now finding it very hard in the post to edit. None of my platforms is able to play them. I can play them on windows using VLC. Can you please help me out?
I am Using Win 10 64bit
Resolve 16/Premier Pro CC
Just beginning to explore the video settings on my XT3, so this was a really useful introduction. What would also be useful would be a comparison of file size for all the settings you tried. EDIT: I see the final video was 21.7GB for 6 minutes!!
ОтветитьHey. Sorry, I don' think I made myself clear. I am mainly interested in best settings for h.264 (8bit) since that is the best you can get on the xt30. So, on h264 do you think the flog is too much too hold on? would stick only to eterna? I've been quiet satisfied using the a7III and sII on slog2 8 bit, and wonder if that is the case with fuji or if ( without the h265) one would better stick to h265 - that is, buy a xt3 instead of xt30. Thanks for the tests!
ОтветитьWhat have you noticed when shoot f log in 8 bit vs 10 bit. I want to try f log but my computer can’t handle the 10 bit files without transcoding media.
ОтветитьHave you noticed a big difference between 200 and 400 bitrates? Does 400 worth the extra needed space?
Ответитьyour background music is terrrrrrrrible
ОтветитьHey mate, questions from a charismatic beginner.
1. Do you see any differences in the H.265 400mpbs and h.265 200mpbs? (I'm not entirely sure what the advantage to 400 versus 2 or 1 hundred is.
2. Do you tyccally film in ALL-I 4k 400 mpbs, or do you mix it up?
Will a gtx 1060 3gb be able to render the 400 mbs 4K?
Ответитьhey, what sd card r u using !? thnks
ОтветитьNice video! BTW do you prefer DNxHR or ProRes for editing ?
ОтветитьI finally got my xt3. I'm doing test footage shooting 4k using the h.265 24fps. I'm setting the export settings to h.265 and everything pretty much staying the same except i change to render at maximum depth, and the quality to higher. When I playback the video it's a black screen with the audio only. Any suggestions? Or what are your export settings for h.265?
ОтветитьGives me more confidence in buying XT4 soon... :-D Thanks!
ОтветитьFantastic..Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is really useful. I'm just getting acquainted with my XT4, the number of formats of overwhelming. Its good to see Long GOP performs around the same as ALL I, as this is where Fuji's 4K 60f lives. As well as the further 120 and 250 frames. The idea constantly changing betwene the two formats to access different speeds would be annoying. I'll stick with Long GOP.
Ответитьbt 709
ОтветитьWhat about the performance on real time reproduction while editing? And how long ir takes to export the final edit?
ОтветитьIs there a Flickring line on the right hand side of the video? I watched this on 4K tv and there’s a blinking line I can see.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
Question:
I need the best quality available.
But when I try to set All Intra, h.265, DCI 4K 16:9, it will met me up to 200 Mbps.
Not 400 Mbps.
Is this normal ??
Useful video, thanks. My conclusions are very similar, 10bit H.265 for sure, however 100Mbps LongGOP is probably enough for most situations.
ОтветитьVery nice comparison..thanks. Did you shoot the town centre in Bracknell? The securities there are a bit of a terrier pups. It seems like they would attack you rather than reminding that the place is not "public?" It looks like an open place but how would we know.
ОтветитьThanks! Also, what makes you shoot in 25 fps vs 24?
ОтветитьExtremely helpful, well done, and thank you. Saved me hours of testing.
Ответитьi have a question. after i import the footage and created a prores proxy, i usually use the fuji lut for rec709. when i export in h264 will it stay in 10 bit or what do you recommend? greetings
ОтветитьReally helpful, thanks for this.
ОтветитьIs there a difference in 200mbps and 400mbps in H.265?
ОтветитьFor someone who's called "lazy", you sure do a lot of f****** work in your videos 😂
ОтветитьNo need for a music track. Distracting.
ОтветитьJust found out about your channel, love it
