I really love your explanation, is profound about Maya. Is just I have a problem, mí diorama have textures in exr. Every time I active Arnold render View all I see is white like there are no textures. Even taking the photo thinking is just I don't see it. There is always that says "couldn't apply color management". My question, my problem has to be with color management? And plis a little help, I need it so I can give my project soon 🥲

Thanks for the amazing video, very useful. My brain doesn't seem process color managment information very well so I do have a specific question.
I need to render a character and comp it in AE. My current Maya "rendering space" is ACEScg, "Display" is sRBG and "View" is ACES 1.0 SDR-video. It's basically all default. I am using tiff format for textures and by default Maya sets them on sRGB but they look very dark on viewport unless I set them individually on ACEScg (should I???).
So my question is: IS this workflow correct or should I change some of the settings in order to then comp my exr sequence in AE correctly?
Sorry for the long comment, I hope you find the heart to tell me what the correct settings for me are.
