why do you put cables to the idrive knob or is this only with the cic version

I just installed this and the iDrive controller does not work (it does nothing). the CIC head unit and steering wheel controls still work properly. Reconnecting the factory plug directly to the controller restores stock functionality so it is not the controller itself.

Mine is all connected and it says no signal. Please advise.

Hi, after installation, the Carplay sometimes switches off and I need to wait until it turns on again. Sometimes, it is impossible to connect an iPhone. Sometimes, the google maps, get frozen and the location is not changing on the maps while driving. Could you please advise?

I've installed everything successfully but i need a place of the wires special the big one since the AV unit can't be closed because the big wire is behind it and it is short i can't move it somewhere please advise?
The car is f02 cic.

You guys did a terrible job explaining all the steps 🙄. Brought mine online and it didn’t even come with a instruction manual.

And the audio still work when the CarPlay connected?

Don’t buy from them, there are no assistance and no instrunctions

what for is extension idrive cable and can,? read that not always is necessary
