Correction. This is the largest toy aircraft that is remote controlled. The Ravn X Autonomous Launch Vehicle is a mammoth aircraft with a wingspan of 60 feet. The 18 feet tall behemoth weighs in at 55,000 pounds. THAT is the largest r/c aircraft in the world ;-)

When she was a young girl, I took my late daughter up in a glider VERY similar in design concept to this one. Your editing, between onboard video and external footage, gave me chills - it was that reminiscent of the actual flight! Exquisite coverage; thank you!

The booming PA in the background spoiled it for me. Shame the bass/volume wasn't reduced in post processing.

I wonder why they bother building cockpits and canopies? RC planes have an advantage over real ones that they don't need a pilot, don't need room for one, don't need to see outside, etc. They could eliminate all that and reduce weight and drag and probably significantly improve performance, especially for a sailplane.
