1973 , I was already a Stones addiced:-) I remember, my sadly deceased best friend Kalle said, hey, the Stones have a new single released. He said Engine it is called :-)) At that times there was no net, vinyl was the stuff, the Stones were at their climax with Taylor just in front of the European Tour 73. And of course we registered that 1972 the US tour was so totally great. Fucked-off mainstreampress, like Spiegel, Süddeutsche, yes, they have been already 50 years ago nothing more, then to clean asses, wrote bullshit like, what a poor song, the Stones are no more creative , they will disappear soon:-) Now I am a bit older, still Stones lover and of course a fan of the Taylor years . And Angie, aaaawrighhhhHT, the ballad for eternity:-) Thanx so fine buddies, real weel delicate presentation at all:-)

It´s a simple song played in a "tricky" way and thanks to Justin - plus help from Vin Diesel/Bruce Willis, who apparantly has difficulties with domestic lighting (hence the shades), we can learn it. Cheers!

I tried to learn this song when it fist came out but with just a vinyl record and later a cassette tape to use I was never able to accomplish much. I now have a dream realized and I thank you so much. I took your advice and once I learned the notes and your picking technique I went to a live version to work out the fine nuances. Found out that even though I knew the notes I needed a whole of work on the timing. I've got it down good enough now to really appreciate your time in teaching this, and so with that I say thank you.
