What happens if you can only use Archers in Bannerlord?

I think you moved to fast. Would have been better to start with 5-10 archers, upgrade them while raiding for coin. Once you can, start investing in workshops for economy. Slowly build up your wealth to support your core group of tier 6 archers. Slowly expand from there.

For the love of God when are they going to stop these enemy army retreats, they retreat with 5 guys, and you have to fight another battle. So from the first battle you have 100 promotions, but you lose them because you can't promote until all battles are finished, so you get three promotions all the XP your guys earned in the first big battle is lost.

When doing a camp with arches they start with “hold fire” but you can press a button in the control menu to make them fire at will

You can buy mounts for you foot soldier to increase your party speed. Also when you do attack a hideout by default your troops are on "Hold Fire" press F4 so that they will fire at will :D

when you first enter a town you will se a bunch of pics with ppl along the top, those are the merchants, if they have a quest it will show in those pics. never have to step foot in a town or keep again.
also look into passive income so youre not riding the bankruptcy roller coaster.;

Dude learn the commands, you can spread archers out, so they are less likely to get hit by cav as much. In hideouts, you have to order them to charge and put free fire on. In hideouts the archers are put as not to fire in hideouts unless you set them to free fire.

I do this all the time just go battalion fian champion and khuzait arches and them f1 f3 most fights and watch the enemy get mowed down

If you need to move fast, more horses equal more speed. So for something like your pacifist video, if you would use like 30 horses you would go lightspeed and be able to carry more. This results in getting to places faster and less bandit encounters.

My own face kinda looks like the Battanian default character.

Ok for the first battle you shouldn’t have gotten of the horse and used it to lure the bandits away so they wouldn’t have been able to reach your archers and engaging them in melee

F4 commands your archers either to hold fire or fire at will. In hideouts their default is to hold fire, so pressing F4 will command them to fire.😊

I have alot of settlements and castles with about 100 in each garrison. I noticed that the buildings inside say "never" now for days tp complete. Anyone know why???

so uhm.. if you press f4 while in a hideout, your archers will start shooting, and they basically always completely destroy anybody in their way (at least the fian champions do) so hideouts with archers make easy renown, money and opinion

They shred through horse archers and armor a lot better because well they use crossbows that’s their entire point

In Hideouts Troops Are by Default Holding Fire. You gotta tell them to Fire at will.
