Thank you for this video! My uncle (non blood related but found family) whos Indian is getting married soon and i just got my saree in! This tutorial made it a breeze to learn! I need more practice but my first try wasnt half bad at all! Im so excited for his wedding and even more so now because i feel much more confident in my saree pleating skills!

ОтветитьI have seen so many videos on drapping a saree but never really got it right. I watched this and tried and it came out perfect. I am 38 and almost gave up on the thought that I could drape a saree by myself.

ОтветитьIf you tuck in the start point at the back or covering entire front, then you’ll have trouble walking. So tuck it in a little further than center of your tummy.

Thanksfor your kind response. I need to drap heavy banarsi zari saree beginning of May on my daughter wedding reception. Please teach me at the earliest complete process you tube video for draping that. I believe that is called banarsi, not sure. Pallu will pleate below knees ghutna. I am in Canada and draping myself.
