Would it be productive to run the wall as the bad guy to make a moving target shooting at a stationary target or would it be better to stand still like the bad guys were doing

Im sorry but this is shitty CQB.

This guy looks like Israeli but the Israeli CQB is different.

The whole "cutting back the angle" technic may work if you're an individual.
But if you have a crew of 3-4 people it's not possible to jump back.
Especially if the second guy holding from the back the first guy in case he got shot.
So he can pull him back and replace him.

Also you need to put your foot as close as you can to the corner of the door.
This is the only "hard" object that give you orientation in a cehotic situation.

This CQB missing the important stuff.

"A lot errors in those moves, the one that stands to me the most is the is the kick to the face of x men already on the floor, with unarm and hands up. If you have that kind a behavior in the team the lack leadership is at play. The person on the floor was overwelmed by random team, to get a kick in the face; it show lack of discipline or maybe that atitude of team is so filled with adrenaline that they can not control themselves. Also, we see only a fraction of the information, we do not know what intel they were given... But to me the classic one banging on the door with all armed players in the front. In the first scene that was US, during the day you could of easily had a team player dress up at UPS a female to not raise eyebrow and once the doors open you move in from the sides, only couple of players also you need in that situation to cover the back.

All and all sloppy team play especially the one by the Temple I think all funnel together. In marathon or any big race the starting line is the killer, because you have to move in big cluster and if you don't look at the feet you trip and they fall down and this can happen if in a cluster position they recieve incoming fire, I think a gurrilla tactic of small teams to sweep each part of sections, 5 to 6 team players... Other then that your asking for to many random unknowns... "

I have tried to visualize how to defend against a stack of attackers taking a room. With most walls being drywall I'm surprised that a defender wouldn't choose to unload a clip along the wall once they see the door open? Personally it would be my best untrained chance of surviving the attack rather than trying to absorb the shock of a flash bang and then a line of guys pouring into the room yelling and shooting anything with arms or legs.

Imo there is a relevant aspect of the force on force room clearing exercise that lessened its realism: on engagement with a threat within in the room from 90° the threat would not just remain standing in the middle of the room after it was shot at, the threat will either disengage and retreat to their narrow angle or will engage fully on the entry way, but would not stand still as it has a natural reaction as well. Instead of telling the guys who play threat inside the room to do whatever they want, it could increase realism by instructing them with basic reaction patterns when being breached that are based on real enemy encounters.

“What’s running through your head, watching this video?” And all of these adrenaline junkies came up with technical analysis how to get more adrenaline in a safer and controlled way. Man the only thing that goes though my head is how bad mankind can be…still today. Poor world 😢

Civvy question: The step-back is based on the assumption that the wall/door will protect you from fire. What if the threat has an AK and sprays the wall?
You lost visual of the threat and can’t return fire while he has a general idea of where you are to mag dump his AK

Playing COD, this was rule #1, making yourself small, and the target large. The slicing aspect was helpful in that it put a name to it. Control your apex, and keep the dominant position.

This is what a professional bull shitter looks like. He is way over complicating crap to try to excuse being over paid. You grab your balls while making entry and hope you shoot them before they shoot you. It's that simple.
