Would love to see you do a video on WJ knuckles on a HP30.
ОтветитьHello. Accidentally saw one of your videos two days ago. I can’t stop watching them so many different ones and then this one here really took the cake. Such an awesome story and to see how far you’ve come it’s just amazing. I haven’t 04 Jeep grand Cherokee For the 4.0 my first had for about four years right now it’s 305 thousand miles and it’s making a noise and I’m either gonna switch it out or rebuild it. I’m not sure yet but I sure do like to watch you take these engines apart and put them back together. Thank you very much. Take Care👍🙏
ОтветитьDo you have a website to buy used parts? Nvm I found it
ОтветитьYo, I’m a Jeep lover. I wish I could come look at the jeeps. I need one.

ОтветитьI gotta buddy needing an automatic trans in the Crossville area how can he get ahold of you
ОтветитьAs I've said ive managed to work on several vehicles with nothing more than auto zone great neck and oem tools, with the exception of the summit racing cheap floor jack and mag lite flashlight...lol
ОтветитьI like the older early 90s jeep 4.0l, I wish I could find one to trade for my 88 buick regal but that's a dream lol. Just watching this man channel is awesome I've always known the 4.0l was a good motor.
ОтветитьI own a jeep Cherokee I really need to get back on the road
ОтветитьHow far are you from Chattanooga? I need some WJ parts
ОтветитьDex I'm looking for a 4.0 Comanche truck, short bed. Do you have anything for sale ?

ОтветитьGreat video mate, I found it very interesting and it takes me back to my youth of messing around with cars and banging around the forests in old beaters. Thanks from Australia
ОтветитьI remember one video I got watching of your and you mentioned having liberties and how they still haven’t got cool yet. Something I was going to try to accomplish but how about doing 3.7 to 4.7 v8 I know possible with the manuals and been done but really curious how the 42re would hold up or even if could get it to shift right. Not sure can be done. could just pair it to the 45re but that be to easy haha I have one just wasn’t ballsy even to tackle it 😂
ОтветитьBad Ass I just got my first project Jeep binge watching your videos
ОтветитьI admire you! My dad and I ran a business a NAPA parts store I had a repair shop in the back worked for him 35 years as a mechanic. I’m 60 now working as a shop foreman at a trucking company.

- correct, we don't understand. Even having owned a few, they suck and I don't get it.
Super!
Ответить91 was my 1st xj,(vechial) then 99, then 01, the 97 with 2.5 5 speed. Done every thing from lift, gears, pulled motors drop trans install clutch u name it. Worked at jeep dealership for 7 years.
ОтветитьJust discovered your channel. I’ve got a 89 4x4 xj bought 25+ years ago been sitting for 8years. Had lots of offers from folks that wanted to buy it. Just to many good memories taught my kids how to drive in it!Never could bring myself to get rid of it. But, I remember how much I loved driving it, you have inspired me to get it running again. I parked it because the steering wheel came loose from the column. As well as shift linkage being broken. I’m sure I’ll be watching a ton of your videos to get it road worthy again! Thanks sharing your story, passion and experience!
ОтветитьCan’t fail with a Jeep patriot 💯🦾
ОтветитьDo any of these run?
ОтветитьI’m 21 years old n don’t dck about cars, I lost a 65k Volkswagen when I was 19 due do dirty money. Now that I’m getting my life together I think it would be dope to meet someone like this to just teach me to take all these 700+* n just build a road warrior all my life I’ve heard these Cherokees j keep on goin
ОтветитьMan I’ve flipped a few Xjs learned a few tricks. I definitely love wranglers too. I can only dream of making working on jeeps a living.
ОтветитьThat’s the truth. Nobody wants to work anymore. Respect to you for what you’ve accomplished. Good job 👍🏻

ОтветитьAlton & I were customers who asked you if we could see the owner of your place. That was a little over 4 years ago. You sold us a 2004 Grand Cherokee & it’s still running great!
I enjoy watching your videos when I have time. You are funny! But I learn stuff too. (My dad was a mechanic.)
Way to go, Dex! You’re one of a kind.
Living in Canada xjs are so hard to find that are not rust buckets I'd love to walk that feild of dreams I currently have a 94 2 door that need some love but I still play every chance I get
ОтветитьSee this is why I said I don't want to beat on my 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed magnum V8 46 RH automatic overdrive transmission 1500 4x4 truck shifts right into reverse and starting to back up and immediately shift into drive and drives really well so I don't want to put it through what my gm square body trucks have went through..
ОтветитьI have mudded several 4x4 truck and 3 2wd gm square body trucks a daily driver 78 Chevy c20 with a rv cam th400 and full floater 14 bolt 1 ton rear,,350 sbc with hooker big primary tube headers with 3 1/2 inch collectors and 18 inch collector extension pipes and dynomax super turbo mufflers and it was quite louder than rusty engine down pipes and no exhaust so I pulled it apart put a good single y pipe 78 Chevy van exhaust on and cut it up and modified it into true dual exhaust and it ended up getting the 18 inch collector extension pipes and that was its exhaust i ended up dealing the hooker super comp headers to a really good buddy of mine, and the second one was a really junk 81 Chevy c20 custom deluxe 350sbc 2bbl 4spd ,semi floating gm corporate 14 bolt 4.56 rear open diff gears and a 79 Chevy c20 68 250L6 48k miles motor and a th350c transmission from a 85 Chevy monte Carlo cl 4.3v6 tbi car anyway that truck was a full floater 84 Chevy 14 bolt 4.56 open diff rear the last two trucks were absolutely junk
ОтветитьCalling $500 twenty years ago ‘a little bit of nothing’.
ОтветитьThat's awesome you, your brother and your mom and dad all shared your passion, amazing your dad supported you guys having fun and while you guys thought it was all fun he was actually teaching u a career path, love the videos keep up the great work
ОтветитьI love how he shows a complete clapped out keep with no doors and half the front clip missing and proceeds to tell us "there's honestly nothing wrong with it, it's just been sittin'"
ОтветитьSometimes, the slowest speaking person has the best thing to say. I once met a heart surgeon who spoke with a similar cadence and rhythm. Taught me to never judge a person until they've finished speaking.
