In this video we show an anatomy comparison of elite sprinters of varying heights and examine how height can effect an athlete's speed based on it's impact on their stride length and stride frequency

10:32: Clip removed due to copyright, missing audio should read as follows:

"When we ask why there aren’t more tall sprinters competing today if they have potential for greater stride length and force production, we need to remember how small they are with regards to the total population, and how much more likely they are to compete in a different sport since size and athleticism are such sought after traits in team sports where where the earning potential for turning pro is much higher than in track."

If you have a longer torso wouldnt that increase the surface area of drag/wind resistance?

Not a lot of people talk about this but imo one of bolts significant strengths is extremely low ground contact time with each step. He generates all the force necessary in barely any time at all. It looks like he is flying through the air on replays. This detail is critical because he is able to match the stride frequency and sometimes surpass their stride frequency and if you take into account his increased stride length then he always blows them out of the water when he reaches top speed

I'm 6'4 185lbs. I remember running so fast once my step propelled my body off the ground I thought my legs would turn over under me. It scared me and I stopped.

Principal of adjustment .....long the leg have low the frequency.short the leg hv high in frequency., so everywhere nature balanced.

It's also worth noting Caucasians tend to have longer bodies and shorter legs while Sub Saharan Africans tend to have longer legs and shorter torsos which can explain with few exception of course why they dominate different sports.

In my opinion the only way someone's going to beat bolt is as such. 1 day they really have to condition their legs to be extremely fast. Such as when Fighting athletes train their limbs to move extremely fast kind of like how Bruce Lee would get extremely fast movements and his enemies couldn't even react to his movement they need to do that but with legs for these sprinters. I believe the second key is to really look into the actual mechanics of the run maybe try a crouched run so you could push off more with more strength and veracity with each step. I'm seeing some inefficiencies with the amount of steps that people are taking they are very fluid in their act it's not as fast as it could be. That's me with my amateur input watching a 12 minute video.

I say it all the time. In the USA we have track speed but our best athletes don't do track really. They go into basketball or football because you can make 10x more money. Top sprinters make like 2-3M which is great. Top football players make 25-35M

So theoretically speaking the ideal strategy would be to increase stride frequency and shorten stride length at the beginning in order to increase acceleration, and then gradually decrease stride frequency and increase stride length?

If Bingtan was 6 foot tall, not even needing 6 foot 4 like Bolt's, he would have beaten Bolt almost every time. Bingtan's strides turnover is quicker than Bolt's.

It is really annoying to hear all the TRACK ANALYST CONSTANTLY COMPARING ATHLETES TO BOLT: ITS ONLY 1-LEGEND AT A TIME: THERE WAS ONLY ONE BOLT FOR HIS ERA/TIME: THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE ANOTHER BOLT: ALL OTHER ATHLETE WILL WEAR THEIR OWN CROWN:❤🎉

Utubers on Track & Field analysis should learn the lesson by now: Noah Lyles, was so envious of Bolt's accomplishments that he tried to even outperform Bolt, instead he made an embarrasing spectacle out of himself: Instead od making his competators depressed; they demolished NL's. Leaving him on the track for dead: We must be careful what we ask for: Noah caught COVID as soon as he came off the curb instead😢

Noah Lyles act like a nice guy but he does not have a good heart towards anybody: He is a two-edged sword, which makes him dangerous and cannot be trusted:Noah's heart is just as currupted as Politrix & the currupted Investors who have come to currupt another good thing: The Olympic Sports was the last human decency that was left for humans to really enjoy naturally but like every industry the Investors gets involve with, they currupt: They do not create anything good but they destroy everything that is good:😮❤The love of money; is the root of all eavil: Noah need to ask himself 'if had died on the Parris track; what good would the money be to him: If the Olympic world 🌎 knew that Noah had COVID-19 2 dys before; it's their Medical experts cooked up a cocktail of drugs and fed it to Noah so that he could perform for them to make Billions of dollars in investments when he became the face of the Olympics, they gave him the win but not the face of the Olympics 😮😮😮🎉😂
