How to Download Informatica on Windows

hi sir ,
i just want to ask what is the difference between adapter , and the second one data warehouse console
cause i need to learn informatica etl tools which one i should download

Hii I have one question...I already have informatica but it's not running it is showing failed to connect to repository service error...if I'll uninstall it and reinstall informatica for installing it I have to format c drive?...
