I hadn't watched this trailer before, but there's a denigration towards Turks here. Firstly, the soldiers resemble Arab soldiers more than Turkish soldiers; even though having a beard and mustache is forbidden in the army, it's used here. The story is narrated by a singular person who is a waiter, and if you pay attention to the images, the fact that he is a waiter and who he serves is overly emphasized. Who is he serving? Pay attention to the stereotype of the sitting customers! You'll see they don't resemble Turks; a European stereotype is drawn for them. Consequently, they seem to have wanted a singular person in the trailer who declares they won't give up, but at the same time, portrays them as weak. Watch what they did for the French 'la resistance' or other country trailers; you'll understand better how they belittle Turks. It's better not to play the game you've made.

Honestly, what with the Russo-Ukrainian War (I’d like to think of it as the Ukrainian War of Defiance), this trailer fits well with Ukraine. They too have been fighting a decade for their independence, they tried to remain neutral, and now they fight for their freedom.
