Is DMZ becoming PAY 2 WIN?

How are we feeling about this? I’m not in love with this direction at all…we all saw it coming though.

Me and my buddies do this all of the time. We all have UAV bundles for DMZ and are always in a full premade, so right off the bat that's 3 UAV'd right there.

Not to mention, we have all of our insured slots unlocked with every 15 minute cooldown gun you can buy so essentially, we never run out of our guns and we are always able to track whe teams are.

Cod want it to be very easy for bad people that’s why the new zombie pve mode come to mw3. When the release is there and they see a lot of players play DMZ, they will make it like they make it with wz1 they just delete it. They don’t internsted in fun or a good experience.

You're leagues better than me. Honestly I see you as a top tier player. The things you pull off with a sniper are fucking amazing. That said, I think this video shows how this bundle wasn't all that pay to win. I don't think you wiped a squad in either run, & you weren't even using bundle weapons the 2nd go around.

If indeed you used the 2 bundle guns & the UAV & were able to squad wipe a 3 man with those 3 things easily then I think it would've proved your point more. But you didn't. And sure, as you said, you were solo. A proper 3 man with your skill set could've done it likely. But that same 3 man would likely wipe me & my friends without bundle offerings.

We're nearly 4 months later from this video. Many MANY more DMZ bundles have come out. Not one of those come with Free 3 plates/Advanced/Special Plates/Guns with higher damage than non-pay counterparts/etc... It's all been the standard 2-plate/Self/UAV/etc. And with the ability to unlock a self every solo run through free upgrades most of those bundles that come with Selfs will be useless to solo players anyway. The most Pay to win thing we've REALLY seen is that possessed thermal & in my opinion as a person who hasn't bought that but seen the comparisons. I don't think it's all that bad.

I still fuck up players who have that with my standard version. And I still get fucked up even when using it after stealing them from others. idk, when I hear pay to win I think Star Wars Battlefront 2, Warframe, Payday 2, APB Reloaded, or even CS:GO. Those games have 100% undeniable game mechanics designed to let those who pay have a CLEAR & unfair advantage. From being able to tank more damage than normal players regardless how much free armoring the norms get, being able to deal out more damage, being given the best weapons & gear up front, to even having the best exclusive pay only weapons & gear. I just don't see that level of BS happening in DMZ.

If &/or when we see our first 3-plate bundle or even worse free Advanced UAV bundle. Then we'll have something to be upset about. Until then I think this video shows how just buying the bundle doesn't give you an Auto-Victory.

Well my argument is that you can’t really win DMZ it’s not the same as Warzone where you actually win the game by killing everyone else. And if you buy this bundle to kill everyone to win nothing really then good for you 😂

I don't feel like these are pay to win skins, if you played a successful exfil before with 3 plate vest, tier 3 backpack and advanced uav then you beat the supposed " pay to win skin ".

I was in a match with this PC streamer i know and the whole time all i kept hearing was hostile UAV deployed and i was getting chased and hunted by teams the whole time. I had to circle back for my dude cause he got killed then we got exfil camped on... im sure it was cause i was in his lobby and he most likely has done some shady shit so i was in a fucked toxic lobby and never made it out

I got that OG ghost bundle cause it's extremely helpful to go in solo with a 2 plate after being wiped and needing to regain.

Honestly Looch. You know I love your content but even if I could get a bundle that gave me a tempered and a large backpack and an advanced uav. It’s still not pay to win. Because 6 man squads.

If you die and start with nothing everything else is cheating!!! Vests, revives, etc.

I think that the bundles should be able to be won also by completing really difficult missions or upgrades because otherwise the games could eventually go the way of pro sports, biggest wallet wins. That said it won't just be that of course it will still be the better players but it does also open the opportunity for better players to drop and rob the players that buy these bundles and exfil with their gear of course. Great video as always. And no they weren't happy lol

Roze skin isn't a bootleg rip off, it's paying homage to her original iconic default skin from MW2019 but changing it around.

Most of them come with perks you can quickly get by looting. I got the Alex one, not because of the revive, but because it had the same prosthetic leg that I have.

It wouldn't be an issue if the UAV wasn't so unbelievably powerful in DMZ. There's no real way of countering it unless you have Ghost, a random perk, or the Stealth Vest, which you have to scour for components for.

Pay to win is literally anytime you can get bonuses that affect gameplay for microtransactions, so all the bundles mentioned are pay to win. Pay to win is not subjective to the elite players' opinions. The UAV bundle is ridiculous though.
