I use WD 40 to revive my slate place mats, slate coasters and the slate base of my fireplace, when they start looking dried out and dull. It makes them look like new again.

Don’t use it on slate flooring though as it will make it slippery and dangerous to walk on.

Great product, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they can't figure out the spray cans they put it in. I have had about a dozen of them stop spraying with the majority of the product left inside. The ones with the built-in tube also frequently pop off and break.

Vegetable oil with 10% acetone nail polish remover works as well and also goo be gone. I recommend a more natural less toxic approach

Ive tried to hinges looks but after few became rusty and mimic the hinges, not suitable for not stainless. But ok for insect

Any essential oil will remove sticky labels without the toxicity of the WD-40 it also removes any waxy film like crayons! You can use any essential oil

I put WD-40 on WD-40 and it actually made the product even better

There's nothing "clever" about putting a petroleum based product on the ground. I'm sure it kills bugs , but I can't imagine it's good for the environment. Just saying.

If it moves but isn't supposed to, use duct tape.

Never use wd-40 on door hinges. Wd-40 is a degreaser, this will make your door hinges squeak even more after a short while because it will remove the oil that’s inside the hinges!
