So this is my first time planting potatoes in fs22. After planting them it's not showing any weeds. I sprayed before I planted but there's another icon that's telling me to do that is use a Hoe. That's not something I've seen in the machine store. Is that a weeder or so I need to cultivate or what? I'm quite confused why that came up as I've never seen that before. Or can I just use my roller like I would on my other crops?
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьHi, did you cover how to remove foliage? Does this need to be done before harvesting? Thanks for your help
Ответить!!!!!!
ОтветитьDoes that harvester also remove folage?
ОтветитьHi I've watch most of your videos believe it or not but do you use the same map on your videos. I'm on felsbrunn which I love but God damn alot of the fields are hilly and bumpy. Do you recommend a good map. Elm creek is pretty flat but alot of the fields are small so you have to plough them together
ОтветитьWhat came first the potato or the seeds?
ОтветитьI had this problem, thank you
ОтветитьThank you
Ответитьthank you! this helped me after ages of looking for videos, hope you have a great day.
ОтветитьWhere can potatoes be stored on fox farms I can’t figure it out
ОтветитьPretty sure there's no crop damage on stage one growth.
ОтветитьIf you spray herbicide directly AFTER seeding.....no weeds, no 10% decrease in yield.
ОтветитьGet done watching you stream then come over for a vid lol ;P
ОтветитьHey FC preemptive herbiciding is a thing on FS22 btw, Driver53 did some testing on it
ОтветитьI think if u plough there will be no weed. I maybe wrong.
Ответитьi know its kind of obvious to some people but thanks for clarifying about the periodic plowing an lime settings because i do hear often you need to plow every harvest but if that setting is off i always wondered if its still needed or not some would say no look at map filters others said yes needs to be done after every harvest for certain crops. great video always awesome content finally caught your live stream other day, usually i watch afterward but was nice to watch live just wanted to say thanks for sharing an uploading guides/tutorials on different stuff an the lets play series. i also find you are able to go in depth with testing but also explain it in a way i can still understand lol only mention that because i was watching a video today on ground textures and seeders and had a lot good info but some of it was hard to understand with how it was delivered
ОтветитьFun tip: It's a good idea to run the topper on a small tractor with narrow wheels, THEN run the harvester on a second tractor. Unlike tractor hauled sugar beet harvester the topper/harvester for potatoes have different working widths, and it can be very frustrating trying to line up the topper and harvester (personally I tend to run both set ups in two passes - as once the crop is topped, it's supposed to be protected from crop destruction, so if you make a mistake with the harvester, you're not wiping out your crop!!!!).
As I understand it, tractors with spaced twin narrow wheels (like the CaseIH 7200Pro) are designed to work with root crops like potatoes and sugar beets, as the rows can pass between the pair of narrow tires - being twins that's a bit more rubber on the ground, so more traction and better weight distribution, and no squashing the crops!
Fun fact: herbicide decreases your yield by 10% so instead of the +20% you get for removing weeds, you only get +10%
ОтветитьSo FC I might be wrong on this because I haven't done the testing myself but I'm pretty positive that there is only one weeder set up to do potatoes and that would be the second option for 51k, the Chopstar 5-90+Row Gaurd. I do believe that is the only weeder designed to work on potatoes. Might be worth testing if you get the chance. Great video man as always!
ОтветитьGreat video as always. I always edit my regular planters to plant potatoes and sugar cane lol, I know it isn't realistic but I play for fun. It sure does eat up some seeds though, planting potatoes with an 18m wide kinze planter 👀👀
