Very informative Ray!
ОтветитьThanks for your video dude ! The DI Boxe you're showing in the video is the Radial Engineering Pro DI ? The little model ?
ОтветитьYou think the di could tame slightly hot pickups. Hmmm something to try before I splash out on new pups
ОтветитьJust so you know, instrument level signals are LOWER THAN LINE LEVEL SIGNALS. You are totally wrong.
ОтветитьI'm trying to figure out where I can listen to the song playing
Ответитьwatching this video end costing me a DI purchase ... thanks a lot
Ответитьthanks for the video, talking about input levels I read somewhere about -12/-18dbs but is there some specific target level to get the most from STL?
ОтветитьI would add that Compression is a super important tool with a lot of plug ins that I try. Some amp sims especially need a compressor plugin before them or they get really spikey, especially clean tones. Clean tones is where amp sims fall short for me.
ОтветитьInput levels = Gainstaging ☺️
Ответитьi use a focusrite 212 that seems to be nice and clean
ОтветитьThank you 👍🏼
ОтветитьGet as far away from your computer monitor as possible and face the other to minimize the buzz
Ответитьi like to use a cheap Art Tube Preamp between my guitar and my interface. You can really warm up a brittle tone, or, use it to push those plugins a little harder at the "front'.
Ответить314toneyo cardinal tonez, redbird tony
ОтветитьThanks Raymond! You rock! Do you know when the CLA Tonality is finally coming out? Thanks man!
ОтветитьGreat video guys!
ОтветитьJ48 into the mic preamps of a Babyface Pro here.
ОтветитьActually, clipping the soundcard might be an interesting video for the future :)
