ОтветитьAppreciate this James, I've been an video editor for 7 years and I've been wanting to code. I'm 2 months in learning python, kinda dabbling into java css and html. I know it'd take a bit i just don't wanna spend money on a college degree lol so that was the most discouraging
ОтветитьI got to the React page loading localhost:3000 , but what do I do now?? There’s a million pages already which one is my index.HTML, or homepage to work with???
ОтветитьIt's not the Boomers living in the basement. We own the basement. It's your generation living in our basement. Pay some rent you freeloaders.
ОтветитьMy background story ? Just like you i was a construction worker for a year, had other jobs before on factorys and whatnot but i always felt i wasnt putting my full potential to work so i never stayed for too long. When covid strucked i lost my job and my gf at the time started working from home at a low code tech company, she showed me how front-end basicly worked so i got genuine intrest on her job and she proposed i started learning front-end development. Me liking logic and liking to start by the "dificult part" started with javascript and in no time i knew way more javascript then her and i even started helping her out with some job projects. I kept studying javascript css and html but meanwhile the lack of a job started to ruin my relashionship and eventualy she left me. So basicly jobless, emotional and just broken my days consisted of just studying and working out at home. I tried finding a job as a developer but finding it on my small city was just impossible. Finaly one day my cousin who lives in France gave me the opertunity to go live with him till i get a job so last year i came to Paris (i used to live in Portugal btw) first thing i did was finding a french course it lasted only 3 months but i was (and still am)so determined that i finished the course and i knew how to speak french by then. Then i searched for a full stack course and to my surprise the interview went well and im currently on that course using what i learned from studying alone ,learning the back-end also and loving it, im currently looking for a internship and im still having classes ill be finished by the end of the year and i hope i can get a job after :p. A year still havent passed since i got here but the opertunities i got for just learning and having a goal completly changed my life and i could'nt be happier. Good luck to everyone who starts web development dont give up and take your time to learn, things will fall in to place in no time 👍
ОтветитьI’m 28, been working construction for the last 10 years, decent pay and it’s OK at times. I keep having ‘wobbles’ mentally due to not being fulfilled with my career. I’ve finally had enough of the wet, cold and dark winters, not to mention the early mornings and back ache. Im committing to learn the trade of coding. I’ve started out with Python on an online course and have the desire to learn front end coding too, hopefully I can make it through, it’s a long road ahead of me but it’s all for the best.
ОтветитьIm a server at a high end restaurant. I do well but I hate the schedule and I want to be able to have a better quality of life and perhaps work from home. I also struggle with typing . I think I need to learn that well .
ОтветитьHow did you made all that kinda of money 😂🤣👀😮😮😮😂😂😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
ОтветитьI'm 31 years old and I'm a full time baker. Currently learning on ztm and codecademy. Any insights please 🙏

ОтветитьHello, I've used to work at Kawasaki motors, and service crew at Mcdonald's, right now I've been working at BPO, Back Office. I'm 29 right now. Do you think I can cope up with some programming related or web developing? Hmm :(
ОтветитьI am a pastry sous chef I like the tech field and I like coding and I hope to make a career shift

ОтветитьI am a 33 year old mortgage processing analyst. I have always struggled with what I wanted to be when I grew up lol I kind of got lucky with the position I’m in, and I ended up being a top producer from the start. It takes a certain type of mind to do what I do successfully, and I felt like software development would be a good fit for me. I started learning html and css on free code camp and it came very easy. Now I’m in a bootcamp and JavaScript is so hard! I understand what I’m learning as I’m learning it, but the modules move fast. I know eventually everything I’ve learned will come together, but I will admit I am a bit overwhelmed right now. I’m sticking with it though and I hope to be successful in this field. Thank you so much for all your great advice in this video!
ОтветитьI am a 29 Year old, I did so Poorly in high school, I Joined the Military with no Direction after 4 years, then Started Beer Distribution Sales for 4 Years until now.. I need a Serious Direction and I highly feel Coding and Software Development is something that Fits me, I don’t know a Think about Coding but I Am Wired with the Mental Patience to Understand the fundamentals and Start with Basics. I want a Healthy Direction in life and will do whatever I can to make it.
ОтветитьYou know sir its so hard to learn code using phone especially for a highschooler like me but soon if i buy a laptop want to be web developer
ОтветитьI really love how you transfer these useful knowledges, especially for a new like me
ОтветитьI'm 18 years old, and I did Information Technology in high school. I'm currently doing my first year in Bachelor of Accounting. I have decided to pursue web development as a freelancer, because I realised that I have developed a high value skill back in High school and I don't want it to go to waste.
Ответить30 yrs old with a graphic design path, but college dropout, stuck between ui/ux or front end web dev, thanks for the video! Subscribing for sure
ОтветитьWhy angular will make you a boomer? 0-o
ОтветитьLet me be your student
ОтветитьI'm 15 years old .I pretty much do coding and stuffs just for a hobby. I'm now interested in App development with kotlin
Ответитьim 23 y.o registered nurse living algeria making about 300 usd a month trying to get a remote job to make enough money to leave this hell
ОтветитьWatching this because someone sent it to me. I graduated with a Computer Science degree, best "job" I got was a research internship. Basically gave up when nobody responded back to my applications. Maybe it was partly due to Java being my main language, idk.
Well, if you can do it with no background then I guess I should be able to somehow after some refreshing. Thanks for the advice.
I’m a USMC veteran who became a construction worker after, now I’m learning programming on my own while being a father to a toddler and hoping to have a similar story to yours. I have no choice but to succeed.
ОтветитьIt may sound silly to some people, but switching to a healthy diet helps a great deal! I used to eat nothing but junk food, since I cut it out I feel so much fresher, happier and it's so much easier to learn new things
ОтветитьMy background: I am starting my senior year of high school in a week, and so far i have felt that it would be more cost and time effective to learn on my own. When i graduate, i will have an academic honors high school diploma, as well as an associates degree in general studies. Would i be laughed at for trying to enter the field as an 18 or 19 year old without a college degree because i suppose i have the option to go to college (as opposed to someone who went to college already and is making a career change)?
ОтветитьThere's so much value on this short video. I'm learning coding and this is just the right video to direct me to the correct path. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьMy background story is very different from your, I took Information Technology and I'm currently a Second-year student. I noticed I'm not aware on how to do things during my first year. That's why during my current vacation break. I spend my time learning and learning, But as I progress this what we called Impostor syndrome really kick in and I only have days before semester start and I'm just starting yet and I'm just currently halfway on what I want to become. I learn a lot on this vid. Thank you!
ОтветитьI will be much grateful to learn from you🙏
ОтветитьI'm 59 and finishing an online cs degree. Honestly I haven't learned much from school so I am doning online bootcamps and wathcing self taught YT vids as a supplement. I am trying to change carreers. Wish me luck.
ОтветитьI was working in eCommerce and wanted to go into sustainability to try to contribute to helping reverse climate change and the food system. I’ve been working in it for about a year and my back hurts from manual labor. I feel there are more opportunities to make a difference by learning to code and building new things that can help improve the system for everyone. I’m a fast learner and am cross training in front end, Python, and swift because I work from more of an artist’s mindset, and don’t let language and skill level hold me back from building the things I want.
ОтветитьHow many hours in the evening did you put in each day?
ОтветитьThe thing now is that if you build the UI they expect things to work imminently lol just because is there visually doesn't mean it works
ОтветитьDisabled veteran that is tired of working with my hands. 3 days from my Bachelor's degree in learning Technologies and starting a business as well.
ОтветитьThere is no need to attack people with degrees. We don't sleep because of math and physics classes while learning computer science theory. Give respect where it's due.
ОтветитьMaybe I'm crazy, but I'm 49 years old and I decided to start learn now...wish me good luck 😅
ОтветитьI’m 30 and working in Graphic Design for an emergency vehicle manufacturer. I’m currently browsing over info on software engineering/web development to see what it would take for a career change. I know absolutely nothing about coding but I’m interested. My biggest drive isn’t really interest in the field though as it’s being able to provide a better life for my family.
Ответить15, been learning programming for 3 years now
my mom hate it and doesn't support me but my father do, so my mom kinda started accepting me

can you list all the songs used in the video?
ОтветитьI'm 16 years old and looking to get a background knowledge of everything before I graduate highschool. I've just recently started web development and have a few small projects. I used to do game development and have made some money from that but I'm looking to expand.
ОтветитьDo you have to be good at math to do this?
ОтветитьI’m 35, been working in custodial operations/maintenance for the past 12 years. Looking to learn the game and change my life by 40. Preciate the video
ОтветитьI'm 20 years old, studying computer engineering and finding my path to become a full stack programmer. I am gathering feedbacks and life experience from those accomplished devs and I love you story and advices.
