Can’t INPUT DATA in Power BI? Here is a WRITE BACK Option with Power Apps!

Is this still working? I have the same setup as you have, but when I put the comment column to the table visual from releated SQL comments table and I click on the item I have no records in powerapps (PowerBIIntegration.Data). When I click on item that already has comment I'm able to modify and save, all working well, or if I remove comment column from table, I'm able to get the id in powerapp.

Awesome video!! It seems I am having trouble with the lookup formula. Using 'Goal_Id' where your client id went in the lookup formula. I am getting an error saying, "Expression Goal_Id eq null is not supported". Any insight on how to fix this?

Thank you very much for this video! I still can't see the automatic update, even when using a Dataverse or SQL database in DirectQuery mode. It only works when I press the Refresh button on the PBI. Is this the normal process or am I missing something?

I got this working on one form. The second one is stuck on "Getting your data". I can't figure out what the difference is...

That is really helpful. But I need to know more. I have created a button and behind that button, I have created a popup that has power apps visual. How can I show the input form by default when I press that button, now it is showing 1st item always. And I want to open a popup if I click on column value if it is not possible then I want to take control of the other page to edit or delete the record. The tooltip is not looking good.

Awesome easy to follow video! Having a problem however. Works fine when it's the gallery, but when i follow steps to add the form, and the publish it, i get an error in Power BI that "This app isn't opening correctly
It looks like permission issues were encountered while opening the app."

I can see that the app IS updating the Power App table from the app in Power Apps, but it wont show the form in Power BI. Have you encountered that before or know what permission I may not have within Power BI with my Premium license. Upgraded to fix it with no joy.😢

Does this method incur an additional cost(s) from Microsoft?

I follow your video steps by step, but I've found that once I update the app for the form, save and publish, my Power BI report does not update - it gets stuck on Getting your data... I have searched for a solution online but nothing comes up. Do you know a way of solving this?

This video was very helpful for me! Is there a way to enable multiple filters? In your video, you show how to do it by Client ID. In my situation, I have two filters where the first is "customer" and the second is "region", and I want to have it so that users can writeback comments to "customer 1 + America" vs. "customer 1 + Asia".

for some reason the column of the list is not showing up in the fileds of the form even my sharepoint list is showing in the datasource, what might be the reason?

I’m running into patch errors when I try to do the same thing here with an excel file in sharepoint. Whenever I try to update the record, I get the following error:
Network error using patch function: the specific record could not be found. Any thoughts?

This works ... but is SO complicated / clunky to get going. The cell should just be editable directly in the table like an excel sheet. No sausage making back end stuff that can break on you.

Is it because the data source is One Drive, should I change the data source to SharePoint??

Great video and I decided to test this. I run into problem however, as the PowerApp is created to different environment than where my data is. This will require some investigation to find out if I move the app to another environment or define in Power BI which environment to use with Poweraps.

I have a sharepoint list with more than 10000 items and so lookup is not working. But Filter is working

First(Filter(<>, ID = Int(First(PowerBIIntegration.Data).Id) ))

Filter can return multiple elements but the item ID is unique so we just can use the first one.
