Weirdly CZ might have more longevity than 1.6 because of the bots, so if Valve ever remove the server browser this would be a good way to experience classic CS.
Yes i know you can mod PODBot into 1.6 but it's all already here with added voice lines and a single player mode, CZ came out at the wrong time i always liked it.

CZ was a great version. Great fun online back in the day.

cscz was my first cs game

I was the weirdo in my hometown who thought Condition Zero was a good game in its own right. Everybody else stayed on 1.3 and was of the opinion that, aside from the Basilan single player mission (Filipinos are suckers for global recognition, no matter how small), it's just 1.6 with new skins and a fancy bot AI. Hardly anybody in my hometown liked 1.6, and if you wanted to play with bots, PODBot filled that need just fine.

Granted, I have a more positive opinion because I got it for dirt cheap and went in with low expectations, but I'm glad the game is still alive after all these years. It truly was a simpler time.

Love this game very much.

First time i got cs 1.6 was from a randomized KEY my friend gave me. Got banned and cried.. Then my parents bought me condition zero, i remember playing it for first time with bots it was just craaazy man :')

I still to this day play condition zero and I love it 📈📈📈
