For some reason the character keeps jumping, not sure why.
ОтветитьBecause you have changed the bool value of the actions (R2, L2) into float, we can't do these actions with the keyboard anymore, right?
Ответитьi just have 1 issue i cant put the Upper Threshold for the d-Pad Deadzone over a value of 1 when i try to save it automatically changes back to 1, i can go below but i need a higher value or almost all my D-Pad inputs are =1, do you have any Ideas how to fix this?
and also how do gamedevelopers put Controllersupport into their games if the raw input of all controllers are different? shouldnt there be a easyer way? i mean how does it work once you finish your game and start it outside unreal engine, how does the game know the user plays with controller and knows witch input of his dontroller is pressed?

ОтветитьHey so first of all, thanks for sharing all this. Great stuff, but I'm following along and you kinda skimmed over overriding ModifyRaw. I have been learning UE for several months so not a total noob, but not exactly sure how to go about this. Can you elaborate please??
ОтветитьIt also does not work for me... however, I think it has something to do with windows and not Unreal Engine.. are you using any special software to link the controller to windows ?
in the control settings everything moves and the buttons work.. I added everything you said.. I just don't get any input in UE5...

ОтветитьWhat does that mean 'wired' ? It won't work wirelessly in shipping builds ? And will adaptive triggers and haptic feedback works ?
ОтветитьHmm, sadly the dpad stuff isn't working for me. My number for the modifier is different than yours to get it to stop triggering and I got that part in no problem. The Dead Zone stuff is a little wonky, it changes the axis value depending on what you put for thresholds. Then if you try to compare the action value with the number you think it's supposed to be it doesn't work.
