Amazing but one question. Can that be painted
ОтветитьHi mate, is it possible to skim and tile over weber ocr on internal reveals.
Is there I primer that I could use.
Cheers, Chris.
Hi
Can you please tell me, which material is suitable for applying over waterproofing walls????
Please tell me
Thanks
can you do a video on the difference between Hardwall plaster basecoat, and cement acrylic render? and what if you wanted to keep your walls rather thin? can you use less?
ОтветитьCan i use this ready mix for window sill ?
ОтветитьGreat videos lad but here is my top tip for you me being a old fella, protect your nose in the sun lad I didn't and ended up with a hole 🕳️ in the tip of mine lol be safe stay well .
ОтветитьI was wondering if you had any experience using tarmac ocr. I’m looking to use this because I get 10% discount from bnq so it will be a lot cheaper
ОтветитьGreat vid thanks
ОтветитьBrilliant video
ОтветитьIs this ok to use on previously rendered wall with blown bricks? Is it ok for filling voids between bricks or should I repoint first?
ОтветитьBloody hell im buying a power float
I’m rendering my house
37 years a spread
Thanks mate
Nice work ?
What about armouring with mesh in between the two coats?
Ответитьpp
ОтветитьIt looks like whoever installed the lead flashing neglected to use Patination oil. Unfortunate.
ОтветитьHi Blaine,
Are you using 6mm thin coat or 10mm beads accepted first ever job using Weber ocr so just wondering
Thanks
Luke.
I'm guessing this isn't the same as silicone ones. But also have you used a base coat product for both coats? Is that the final coat?
ОтветитьHi. What is best silicone render Weber or k rend or this stuff?
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьGreat video as always, Blaine. I want to render over horrible garden wall of painted blocks (the textured sort of blocks). Is it OK to just get off all the loose paint, then use pregrit and Weber OCR? Also, the wall has a few vertical cracks...is it OK to strengthen the cracks with steel builders band (screws & plugs), then do the Weber OCR with plastic mesh, then top coat of OCR? Hope you can help with advice mate....I'm unsure about this.
ОтветитьHi Blaine love your videos top notch , just wondered what length of refina float would you reccomened? Many thanks
ОтветитьDamn, your good. Hard to find tradesmen like yourself.
ОтветитьLoving your work but I am struggling to get my head around why someone would want to render a pretty newish built house. It seems like a pointless cost and adding maintenance costs in the future. I live in Shetland in an old house that’s been rendered from day one. We have to keep on top of the render. Then you have to make sure you need a high quality, expensive pain. No way would I refer a new build.
ОтветитьWatched your other content for a bit of an education on my outside garden wall, heard about this OCR so I'm going to give it a go.
ОтветитьHi, love your videos.. Can I ask, if you were rendering a garden planter, what render would you recommend using for the top edge where water is likely to sit when it rains? Thanks.
ОтветитьBlaine good vid we got some external walls to do on a pool building so going to get a Refina power float as well as diamond floats can I ask why you don’t use the sponge that comes with the power float ? Thanks mark from wolvo
ОтветитьIt’s called one coat render for a reason… why are you applying in two coats? You don’t need to do a scratch coat. Just hit it all in one go…
ОтветитьHiya mate - quick one. How many bags do you think is needed for a 11 ft long wall. Width is approximately 3ft. ( providing I do a scratch coat and main coat like yours )
Many thanks
Viola😂😂
Ответитьthis is hot 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьHow thick can this ocr be applied on each coat?
ОтветитьHi Blaine, This vid is an absolute godsend as I'm psyching myself up to render our block planters. Would you recommend using a mesh on the base coat or just the scratching ?
ОтветитьYour not ment to handflot weber render??
ОтветитьJust blown me away Blaine, is it breathable??, kind regards Mike.norfolk.
ОтветитьAcrylic bag render has been in Australia for years . Don’t even need scratch coats
ОтветитьBlaine, is this a more expensive solution than sand and cement please? I have large garden wall areas to render and I am just starting out. I just don't know what would be more cost effective
Ответитьcan you paint over this OCR with regular masonry paint?
ОтветитьDo twice as much work in a day and earn half the money on the job. Smart
ОтветитьHi there. Love this product but wanted to use it over Yorkshire stone. Do you think it would be suitable if I use mesh and bonding agent with it? Or do you think I’ll need to do a cement render instead fully or just cement to fill in the ridges (which are quite shallow) then could I use OCR?
Also could I use it on mullions? Or you think cement is better? Cheers for any help as I’m struggling to get much help from the company directly and I’m quite new to this game.
Nice video Blaine... looking forward to going on the WeberOCR course !!
ОтветитьHow long does this have to be left to cure before painting? Cant seem to find the info on this
ОтветитьGreat content
ОтветитьWith OCR it’s a one coat system, why did you apply in two coats, scratching the first?
ОтветитьIs this painted after Blaine
Ответитьyou gave me a great experience! I have been doing this for many years but you are a master of your craft!
ОтветитьHi. May I ask why do you have to do it in layers.? Cau you just do it in 1 layer like sand and cement mortar?
ОтветитьTop vid as always Blaine 👍 Quick question.. if I'm breaking down large walls into smaller sections, would you recommend expansion beads to do this? Cheers!
ОтветитьGreat stuff
ОтветитьWhich product silicone render colour would you use to finish the job?
ОтветитьWrong bead up the middle of the gable should be a expansion bead not a stop bead
ОтветитьHey dude hope ur good see on this render job you stop beaded down the middle of the gable was that just to rule off and ur gonna do the other half? Good job bro
Ответить
