It was China who first grounded the planes. US was the last country to do so. Boeing told everyone that pilots from Indonesia and Ethiopia who were bad. Boeing CEO took 30 million dollars that year and was an accountant by profession.

Btw, the A320 neo isnt too good either. I'm from India we had over a dozen engine failures with their PW engines. Thank GOD, the pilots were able to land all the planes safely.

After two major airline crashes and several restrictions imposed by the United States aviation regulators on Boeing, faults are being blamed on "temporary" Indian engineers, claiming the 737 Max software was outsourced to engineers from Indian companies HCL and Cyient Ltd. India always does poor IT jobs.

Also, to save money Boeing hired software engineers from India IT。

LOL.. MCAS was not the issue. It was the faulty angle of attack sensor that didn’t have cross feed that armed MCAS. The pilots SHOULD have been able to figure out they needed to cutoff the stab trim.. Especially if the A/c is pitching down with active VNAV climb.. Boeing should have added a cross feed between L and R sensors so it wasn’t a single point of failure system but MCAS. wasn’t really the root cause of the issue. The real issue that has been left unaddressed is lack of training and qualifications of pilots outside of major airlines. For example, if you fly from US to Qatar the pilot requirements for that flight is higher relative to Qatar to Vietnam

Surely the MCAS could be overridden somehow, even if it means switching off the autopilot.

MCAS stands for Many Complication and Stupidity.

Hey Boeing can I get my refund please.

This is much worse than shopping online.

MCAS stands for "My Cousins And Sons".

You keep outsourcing critical software to Indian cheap incompetent engineers, you get more crashes. As simple as this.

Why don't you tell the story of lionair allowing that plane to fly for over 30 days with a faulty aoa sensor the day before the crash that plane for an hour with stick shaker for the entire flight..but no that wouldn't make a good story telling the truth ..

The 737 was a 1966 design powered by the proven Pratt and Whitney JT8D jet engine and it served the 737-100 and-200 well. What made it beautiful then has propelled it into obsolescence. The Boeing 737 first cry for help was when the 737-300 was introduced with the CFM-56 engines that had to have the accessory gearbox relocated to the side from the 6 o'clock position just to accommodate the new powerplant due to the outdated fuselage height. The 757 modified for future service would have been the way to go in a perfect world. It had the redesigned cockpit area and fuselage height to accommodate next-generation engines with increased bypass characteristics. They could have at least increased the landing gear height on the 737 and implemented doors. But I guess with the current culture of "sales and accounting first", this ties the engineers hands. This did not have to be.

Because then pilots weren’t given the training to deal with MCAS. Airbus doesn’t fool around with these kinds of things where as Boeing doesn’t seem to give a rip now.

That''s the american version of capitalism, greediness above safety for human lives, they are good in weaponary production though, which also leads for ending human lives around the world, so basically the american version of capitalisim, in their results there is always the chance to end human lives.
