Be honest, did you already know that? 🤔 😊
ОтветитьWell, I was hoping for a video that went into settings to make sure I'm using the right codec, not a video explaining codes and explaining a graph of what's supported.
ОтветитьHello! maybe can you help me, please?
i am trying in DaVinci to edit and color correct time-lapse from TIFF files (lots of files)
and when i export it its always crash.
my GPU is very old and only 4GB
i am in search for a new graphic card.
but not sure what will handle this type of editing?
in the color tab, i am using deflicker and, motion blur.
i don't want to spend more than I need.
And it is Resolve
ОтветитьWhy don't use proxy?
ОтветитьHaving a problem in Davinci Resolve with very new hardware, rendering 3D 4k .EXR files sequences and it's playing and editing 80/20 cpu/GPU, trying to figure out how to utilize GPU for this setup, any ideas?
ОтветитьHi @Tech Notice! Your videos are alwys high quality, but this time the audio was not good. Is there a reason for that?
ОтветитьI have only a dual core i5 6200u CPU laptop ! 😑😑😑 And now i can't do anything in my laptop !
I
Is there a info about how much in % this hardware acceleration inpove playback ?
ОтветитьHi! Do you have a link to the article page? I couldn't see it in your above links to look at.
ОтветитьIt worked fine for then just broke, so I moved over to Shotcut.
ОтветитьGood info for planning an upgrade or new build. One can focus on the correct CPU/GPU based upon the capabilities of your cameras.
BTW, DaVinci Resolve does not like H.265 out of a Mavic Air 2. Goes (and stays) in Media Offline error. Re-link did NOT work. I had to use VLC media player to convert the files to H.264 MP4 to get them back to available in the Media Pool.
so good Video🖒
But How to enable GPU acceleration in Resolve? You explained how to do that in Premier in the last Video.
thank you very much
Thank you for the thoroughness!
Ответить... forgive me (because I actually like your channel) but I have a lot of red flag objections on this one. 1. Nobody that wants to make money and produce semi-pro or professional video products should or will ever adjust his camera to an inferior codec just in order to get soft playback on his editing PC. In contrary you always want to use the best codec you have for more than obvious quality reasons. You then can export your product in any resolution and codec you might want or need, vastly inferior or not. BUT NEVER the other way around ... And if you are just in for a hobby you do not buy a 1000+ euro video card for that reason ... If as a hobbyist you r computer is not that great you can regardless get soft playback by simply adjusting the playback resolution of your timeline in Davinci (just one click) ... 2. As a professional editor that works on productions for many major broadcasters in Europe (ARTE, ZDF, ARD, Canal +, BBC, etc.) I heavily use Davinci resolve, and have no problems whatsoever to softly playback, say 4k footage on ProRes 4.4.4 /10bit or even 4k CDNG files with 12 bit color, or any other codec, from Sony, Arri, Panasonic, Kinefinity, or whatever cameras. “Oh ... you must have a very expensive PC or Mac then” – I assume is the instant reaction... In fact, about 8 months ago, watching a video on your channel (!) and coming from Mac and mainly from Intel CPUs, I was actually convinced by you (your video), to build a cheap AMD Ryzen 9 3900X editing workstation ... I had a few parts already (a Thermaltek power supply and PC case) but basically reproduced with minor alternations (mainly no liquid rgb ssds and flashing lights and similar non essential decorative money eating crap) the exact same machine you were talking about. I spend only 1500 Euro. It works like a clockwork ever since. (thanks by the way!) ... (Part II underneath)
ОтветитьKdenlive Archlinux RX 5700 XT?
Ответить6 min gang yes I already know that
ОтветитьYO YO HERE FIRST BABY!!!
Sick vid as always btw!
