I feel like if you're going to 180 from the sound that got you your fanbase, you should make the song a little more exciting. Like it's catchy, don't get me wrong. I just feel like I've heard 100 songs just like this, and it lacks the dynamics to really stand out from the pack. Hopefully they can make songs that blend this style with their emo/hardcore past more organically in the future. Less excited for said future now unfortunately 😥
