It's not MP3, it's AAC (like it says in MKVToolNix).

Well, this generates mkv files, even if you call them mp3 or anything, it's still a mkv/mka file. I hoped to get an instruction how to actually extract the audio track alone unchanged in format it was saved into the mkv.

Lol it is not mp3. It is AAC.

For those saying the generated file is not truly mp3: I found out the file I generated should have .MKA extension since it was extracted from a mkv file. So just put ".mka" at the end of the file instead of ".mp3" and it should work. Than convert your .MKA file to a .MP3 one using whatever file converter you want and it should work fine.

Thanks for the helpful guide. I didn't know it was that easy. So far I've always used MKVextract for it, but it no longer works.
