Why Hunt Showdown Is Awesome

Is this game difficult to learn for a beginner coming from games like league of legends and world of warcraft??

I now have to take a long walk every day so i dont pop a vein or get a stroke. Great game.

I absolutely love creators (like you) that actually explain why they don't like a game instead of just saying something along the lines of "I don't like this game so you shouldn't like it either"

I've watched a handful of videos on this game over the last week trying to decide if I'd get into it or not and I'll say your review is by far the most interesting to me, your take on it feels more organic rather than some of the others I've watched that feel overly forced and scripted. Love the video, and now I'm just waiting for this game to install so I can see how many times..in a row I'll be dying lol.

Is this video about Hunt or about bashing Tarkov?

Big tip: dual wield that german pistol as ur secondary weapon instead of shotguns, you shoot extremely fast, and u do good damage, only problem is it takes quite a while to reload.

Tarkov is a POS, Hunt much better.
Also, if you don’t want to support RF army you should not invest to this game…

Absolutely my favorite game of all time. Haven’t really done Tarkov but I’ve played enough of the modern setting, not to mention been on a modern battlefield. The Atmosphere in Hunt is what keeps me coming back. I love the 19th century weapons and setting, as well as the fantasy twist. Extracting with the bounty is still amazing and dying sucks but isn’t soul crushing.
I try to recommend this to everyone, the problem is you forget how much there was to learn as a newbie. Psychoghost has literally hours long/hundreds of tips and tricks and that only scratches the surface

If Tarkov or this game had the same gunplay and feel as Call of Duty I would play them...Thankfully I got DMZ but it's really buggy.

Best PVP game with the most amazing gun battles..
Hunt caters both for the casual player and the sweaty players if you move up in Rank (Stars).. It also caters for the guy who wants to play 10 hours a day and also for the casual player that wants to play once a month.
Your success in gun battles are not determined by gear but by skill and strategy.
Hunt also has less cheaters because there is no incentive to cheat.
Unlike Tarkov if doesnt require you to commit your life to a wipe and if you dont you are only bound to get your teeth kicked in because of your shitty gear.

My preferred PVP game is Hunt Showdown simply because of amazing gun battles and the PVP quality.. I have over 2k hours in CS GO and 2k in Tarkov.. over 3.5k in Rust.

bro it makes no sense saying that this game is different to other competitive games because you dont get mad at this game you only get mad at yourself when its the exact same thing in those other games too.

I like both Tarkov and Hunter Showdown, I think Tarkov's mastery curve is a little longer but both games are quite challenging, In Tarkov there is also a "quality of life attitudes learning curve", in Hunter Showdown things are a little more straightforward than in Tarkov. Tarkov is more RAW, if you know what I mean. BTW thanks for the video, loved it.

I played it when it first came out. Didn't really understand the goal or the game play, stop playing, months later, same thing. 2 weeks ago, I decided to really learn the game, have a better understanding, and it's a really good game. The style, the music, the ambiance, the weather, the creepiness... so good.

It's missing something, like some sort of spirit, that creeps up or a new hunted area with ghost that appears only at night. Maybe add destructible parts of buildings. This game has lots of potential.

I have almost 800 hours and my favorite thing is how balanced the weapons are you can start a game with nothing but a knife and Medkit and leave with every bounty and a full load out

the feeling of hit or miss on guns is why i love games with slower firing "high impact" weapons like team fortress 2. you feel your misses and dont feel as frustrated with "oh his smg killed me with one bullet first". good game design pays attention to this mentality

In my personal opinion, Hunt: Showdown is one of the most exhilarating and immersive games I've ever played. The blend of intense PvP and PvE action, along with the hauntingly atmospheric setting, makes every match a heart-pounding adventure. I love the strategic depth it offers, forcing players to work together and think on their feet. The graphics and sound design are exceptional, truly drawing me into the game's eerie world. It's a game that consistently keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I can't get enough of it!

I liked this game so much that i play it every chance i get, 130 hours and counting. I played a lot of R6S before and it was a easy adjustment for me, but on the downside i can't play games like Killing Floor 2 rn cuz Hunt spoiled me, and i cannot stand how barebones KF2's sound design is.

The biggest NOGO for me in tarkov is actually the god damn Engine. It sucks!

A Mountain Man went all Kamikaze on me by jumping out of a 2nd story window and getting a miraculous headshot on me while getting blow up by my dynamite. Then only moments later, my teammate revived me and I immediately got struck down again by an immolator who was angered by the commotion. Amazing times!

One of the best intro for Hunt I've seen so far. After almost 2500 hours playing it, this is the video I will send my friends. Great job and thank you!

Anyone agree with me here? I really wish this game had an economy. That is the only thing keeping me from enjoying it and keeping many more from playing it. There has to be a motivation to play, i love this game just i want to gain when i win, and push me to win. This is the same thing with Sea of Thieves i really love that game but there isnt an actual market that you can buy useful items from others which is what makes tarkov fun. That is the only thing about tarkov i like which is crazy because i have around 1500 hours on tarkov

I don't think you emphasized the audio in this game enough, it's the highlight of this game and to play without headphones would be like playing with your monitor off. This game is one of those games that ruin other games after you play it because an element of it is so amazing. Like Dark Souls 3rd person combat ruined games like The Witcher 3 for me. Hunt's audio ruins every other game's audio experience for me. The audio engineers in this game deserve all the rewards in the world including a Nobel prize lol. Also you said there's a difference between audio above and below you. I have 2k hours in this game and I'm pretty sure that's not true, you just have to take audio clues and your brain will likely fill in the rest as far as vertical placement. The game only has 2 channel audio.

Just re-downloaded the game and got my first kill got 3 that match, was very intense very quick and died directly after and laughed my ass off. I play alot now

Yes there are too many sweats in competitive games that are on a different playing field, needs to be toned down... Been looking at hunt showdown for a while now

1900 hours into hunt, can’t stop coming back. Lows aren’t nearly as low as tarkov and it feels like your skill matters much more than your gear barring a few circumstances. Tarkov is like oh this guy started playing one day before you in the wipe so he’s got goated armor and bullets that negate yours, literally stopped playing tarkov after getting 19 torso hits on a dude with a ppsh. Don’t even try to defend that shit lol

tarkov use to be good before the stupid changes but the cheaters kill it for me everytime

Uh, did you not know about the quest lines and tasks and traders or dailies? Those are all objectives in Tarkov.

Uh, what do you mean Tarkov doesn’t really have a PvE element? What about the roaming bosses and A.I. scavs?

I hate Tarkov and love Hunt for the same reasons you do but you’re Tarkov takes don’t make any sense, it’s like you’ve never really played it.
