You don't find the meaning of life. You make it.

what if you consider yourself to have “achieved individuation” but due to an event which caused dissolution, or rather before the event, a rejection of a shadow aspect which led to the event itself, caused me to lose my sense of individuation, can it be regained?

Ohh how we can end up in madness once we get into it.. I'm just travelling the world and living homeless a lot of the times, living in the streets and so on to be constantly in immediate contact with the way of the psyche works. I just love it and find it satisfying even in the toughest of times. How the archetypes can get me is pretty fascinating. And how they can leave me to show me in another. Just glimpses here and there. Or the ways it works on a grander scale. It really lets people in when you leave everything behind and are literally naked before it (or God). Just the life of it. Deeply grateful for this content as well as those who do similar things / have similar interests.
Love you & please be safe on your travels in the cosmos and consciousness.

Of course, good and seeking sir, Jung did indeed build a theory of the unconcious and of individuation upon the pioneers of the ancient past. Pioneers who, through myth and legend, 'unconsciously' delved into the challenging and agonizing processs of going deep within to realize one's true potential as an individual, not just another copy cat non-entity. The Christ used word play with Divine wisdom when He said "If you bring forth, that which is inside you, that which is inside you, will save you. If you fail to bring forth that which is inside you, that which is inside you WILL destroy you"...The authentic individual is faced with no choice but to embrace the deep challenge of individuation.

The one area in which I don't fully agree, and this is based on the insight of a psychoanalyst with over 40 years of experience, is that the anima/animus is actually a relating function, not an inner man or woman(this is a very common misconception). It is the image we experience the anima/animus as, either in our own psyche or project onto another.
The relationship with the masculine or feminine aspects of the psyche start with our mother and father, hence when the relationship is strained, unhealthy or nonexistent, the idea and reality of "mommy issues" or "daddy issues."
If these unhealthy relationships are not reconciled by the individual, either externally or internally, the person will express those wounds(for lack of a better word) in his or her relationships with others, usually the opposite gender.
The "shit tests" that women put men through, mostly unconsciously, are expressions of her animus, in a similar way that a father would look after his daughter when engaging in a relationship with a male partner...

It's interesting Jungs thought on Alchemical Gold being spiritual and not physical, since Agrippa claimed it can be done physically in his 3 books of Occult Philosophy... I'm a fan of Both Jung and Agrippa; but there is a contradiction there and I'm guessing it's up to one to decide on which to believe in.

I've personally witnessed and thusly concluded, those of us that will say we've discovered the meaning of life, say the same. The meaning of life is to create meaning. The purpose of life is to create purpose. All who find it either created themselves or were there to witness another create it and latched on with all their being.

This makes me wonder. I have Autism, so the societal imprints on my behaviour is pretty clear to me, because I have to consciously learn it to implement it.

Does this put me at an advantage to individuation? If so how much and how far along am I?

Yes. I do think that Carl Jung's theories are built upon the mystical teachings of the ancients. I think that his legacy is a sign of Hermes' Arquetype, manifesting in his insights. He played a crucial role in modern civilization, one that I see as a bridge between spiritual knowledge and scientific knowledge; between intuition and the rational mind. He then reminded us all that psychology is the study of the soul, the way to self-knowledge, and not just a mere way to explain our behavior as "rational animals" (as extreme materialists insist to think). We can also say that ancient alchemy was about reaching the understanding that in our times we are seeking through psychology. Carl Jung has brought to the scientific world the wisdom of symbolism, and thank God for that.

Thank you very much for all these inspiring videos and knowledge. It really helps humanity. All that we learn uploads to the collective unconscious and is downloaded by other souls.

In answer to your question posed at the close of this video: "Do you think Carl Jung's theories build upon the mystical teachings of the ancients?" Any cursory look at Jung's voluminous texts with its alchemical drawings, Hermetic diagrams, gnostic artwork, and even the drawings and illustrations of Jung's patients from their dreams and Personal and Collective Unconscious work will provide an answer to the affirmative. Jung is, after all, called a "Depth Psychologist."

I am dying to know what jung would have thought of all this gender ideology stuff.
I truly see it as some thing that is shifting on multiple planes, I don’t agree with the politics but I do think that humanity is grasping for something right now

Jung is excellent. If only he could've accepted that his mystical experiences were true realities being revealed, rather than the projections of his inner consciousness. Regardless his work is fantastic and serves as a stepping stone for the materialist to bridge the gap from thinking in terms of objectivity and properties to how much of the world is interpreted through symbols that convey meaning about the world through the subjective lens of the consciousness or individual mind, and ultimately through connection and unification with the Nous, or universal mind.

Thanks for your analysis. I’m not sure I agree with the gendered binary perspective of Jung’s theory and wonder whether the process of individuation is a wider phenomena. I agree spiritual consciousness can be awakened through journaling and meditation but also by channeling these understandings through our relationships, how we work and learn from each other. Now that we have an emerging appreciation of quantum physics and complexity science, there might be also a wider ecological mindset that could connect us to each other and our planet. So I think individuation is ultimately a more connective process 😊
