Hello :) how far are you filming from the camera? Cuz I need for selftaping (actor) and I’m far 1m / 1.5m and I’m scared to be distorted. Do you think it’s better the sigma 30mm 1.4 or the Sony 35 mm 1.8?

I have a Sony a7riii, would you recommend it for portrait photography and smaller wedding photography? I don't anticipate printing such large prints.

I am a complete noob. If I want a greater depth of field should I go with the Sony 35mm 1.4 or 1.8? It looks like the 1.4 has a manual control of the aperture. Sorry for my noobness.

For me so far 35mm is king. My 22 ef-m is awesome for video or photography on the canon M50. My next experiment will be a 50mm focal length (which is around 35mm for a lens to achieve on APS-C).
