Thank you so much! now I know what thermal paste is and how to apply it haha, cheers!
ОтветитьI want to repaste Should my pc be lying down?
ОтветитьCondom go hard
Ответитьapplying thermal paste on the cpu is one of the most anxiety triggering things for me. it kinda goes up there with changing the strings on my guitar too. it always gives me anxiety. you can go overboard so fast and also apply to little just as fast at the same time. it's the worst part of building a pc by far. everything else i can deal with but the thermal paste application i just wish we had a better way of doing it.
ОтветитьI hit the like button after he kissed the camera 😉 ❤
ОтветитьPaper towels shouldnt be used on electronic devices....?
ОтветитьMy bro has a condom on his hand 💀 but overall good job bro
ОтветитьHi. Is it ok to use ethyl alcohol (the common alcohol) instead of the ispropyl one? Thanks
ОтветитьHi, I did what you did but why my PC no longer turns on after applying? 😢
Ответитьi’m trying to replace my thermal paste but there’s this black cord coming from the part that goes on top of the cpu and it’s preventing me from removing it fully, any tips ?
ОтветитьI have a question If i install a new cpu, do i have to add thermal paste?
ОтветитьShould you spread it around?
ОтветитьThat hardware must've cost a fortune. Jeesus!
ОтветитьSo glad I read these comments!
ОтветитьLeaving everything in the case to do a cpu cooler swap is wild
ОтветитьI used artic silver 5 on my cpu and gpu, should i switch to mx 4?
ОтветитьHow many times should i be doing this each month?
ОтветитьI didn't change it for 8+ years since I had no clue. I'm definitely going to now that I have another high-end pc 😅
Ответитьwhat cooler do u have there
ОтветитьI recently replaced amd stock thermal past with a zinc oxide based thermal paste, But i think i did something wrong becoz temperatures are not good
ОтветитьThank you for being straight-to the point and not filling the video with useless filler explaining the history of thermal paste and your grandmas favourite cookie recipe.
ОтветитьAre we gonna ignore the condom in the room 💀
ОтветитьWhy did bro have a condom
ОтветитьI saw a video that shows an X patter is the best way to apply the thermal paste
ОтветитьA condom in place of gloves? lol
ОтветитьMicrofiber cloth instead of paper towels
ОтветитьWhy is your thumbnail of a intel cpu?
ОтветитьThanks! That WOULD be my luck.
Ответитьive had my pc for a bit over a year and only when my pc fan started making noises did i take it off, its had no thermal paste this whole time, i done a cpu temp check and it was idling 90c
ОтветитьThanks for the tip about overspill. Has potentially saved me from wrecking an old but much loved laptop 👍🙂👍
ОтветитьAmazing tutorial and conviently you have the same cooler that I do so the fear was pretty much zero. this was so easy to replace thank you so much for an amazing tutorial!
ОтветитьWell done, mate! Very clear, very helpful. I'll subscribe.
ОтветитьAre you sure that Arctic Silver 5 is conductive? The website specifically states that it does NOT conduct electricity
ОтветитьI def tried that “pea size” method & nearly fried my cpu because it was no where near enough… was hitting 80c just opening browser tabs & 95c with gaming. Had to do a zig zag across the cpu for it to even be adequate enough
Ответитьhow much is needed for 1 CPU? I mean If I buy 1 gm does it has enough to do on 1 cpu?
ОтветитьDo i have to apply it further with my finger and even out the dot or just put the thermal paste there as a dot and then straight away press it using a cooler ? Please tell me
ОтветитьAlso to note. You should run your computer for 10 minutes and then shut it down right before performing this. It will warm up the paste and make it easier to remove. Also Doing it cold has the potential to damage the CPU though probably slim it is possible. SO DONT RISK IT!!
ОтветитьThank you, that helps a lot!
ОтветитьFirst time doing this already nervous without even doing anything yet
ОтветитьQuick solid video, thank you!
ОтветитьWant to make one correcton to this video, thermal paste is non-conductive. if it gets on the CPU or in the socket, it wont actually short out the PC.
ОтветитьJust one dot? I didn’t know that.
Ответитьpc been acting up, hasn't been cleaned in almost a decade, took a look and realized. Everything covered in a 2mm layer of dust. Took every component out, cleaned it off, now putting it back together. Didn't have thermal paste so had to drive to the city to get some. Im surprised the CPU and GPU held up with 1 load of paste after all these years. Or anything else in that matter... thanks bald tech guy™️!
ОтветитьSuper helpful video, thank you so much man!! 🙌
ОтветитьThis is the building step that always gives me a stomachache. That and booting Windows but that's a problem for a different day.
ОтветитьYou state....."Today, I learned how to apply thermal paste". Well if you only learned today, then how can you recommend Isopropyl alcohol? You are not in a position to recommend anything!! You talk as if you've used 100's of products and Isopropyl alcohol is the best. Jeeeeez....... talk about click bait!!!
ОтветитьWhat if you just paint all the processors with that paste? As if you put that point in the middle would not cover the hole processors? Just asking
Ответить
