DON'T make this mistake!! Shokz OpenRun Pro Review

I own this product it hurts my head after and hour of use I can’t deal with that.

I really like your review. You cover a lot and still you are concise. Really helped me decide on the latest model as first pair of bone-C headphones. Side note-I just ordered some Mojawa headphones online, not seeing that they ship from China.I am returning them once they arrive. Communist-genocidal China should not be supported in America. And they certainly don't deserve my dollars! Shokz products for me! Thanks again!

You need to compare the Open Run pro to the Open Run (not Pro) which are the same design as the Aeropex but not the same... the mics are the dual version now so probably the same. Since I don't hear my mic I cannot say, I have all three and like the plain Open Run the best. Also there is a smaller version of the Open Run (plain) called the Open Run Mini.

My Openrun Mini, not Pro, arrived yesterday. To me they sound horrible. Definitely not for music, but more for listening to reviews on YT like yours. I may exchange for the Pro Mini, but won’t expect much in the way of audio quality. Great review.

I bought the openrun pro today at half the msrp. A good suggestion on this kind of tech when the price is a little high, is to wait for deals like around thanksgiving (black friday) because you'll certainly find somewhere that's selling very cheap. and it sounds like from your review that at that price it's definitely worth the price. Though, i'm guessing the aeropex is comparably discounted. still, something to consider

just bought these. my issue is the the battery life,, or more accuretly the program turning the device off at 20 % after yelling at me like 7 times

i have owned a couple of aftershockz earphones over the years and I feel I should add my tupppence here:
-bone conduction: wtf is that. these earphones are basically tiny loudspeakers sitting over your ears, not in your earcanals so that you can ear better ambient noise (cars... ) while running which is a great advantage in my opinion. Your test suggest that hearing impaired people would benefit from bone conduction. As I am not hearing impaired I could not comment on that but my experience would make me doubt that claim. Before you buy do the following experience: pair the headphones and play some music. leave the headphones a few meters away and push the volume up, you will hear the sound quite well.. as I said: tiny loudspeakers. Useful feature if you tend to misplace your headphones like I do.
- I got my second pair on warranty after the first one stopped working, and I am about to try to get this second one replaced as it stopped working as well after two years of not too intensive use. Suffice to say that if I don't get replacement I will consider other brands, or technology altogether.

So I just got the pro is there an app where I can customize them?

Just bought the blue pair of these, i have to wear a walkie talkie and wire all day, and we're not really allowed to remove it on break. This will be great for me, as i can just slap these on without removing my wire. When i box at home, my earbuds always try to fall out from the movement and sweat (JBL endurance btw), so these should be awesome for that. Thank you for your great review!

I sweat a lot when running, damaged a lot of earphones and ear buds. Thinking of getting one of shokz, will it get damaged by sweat?

Not much difference with sound quality from Open run. I had to return my openrun pro for this reason.

I used my open ear shokz at work today while wearing earplugs because operating loud heavy equipment. You can hear really well still even with the lil foam earplugs

I do have a big head with 63 cm. I wear them as my edcs and more often than I want, I sleep with them still on because I forgot them.

I think thats a good sign for comfort, but I saw it when others used a shokz headset. This headsets comfort depends heavily on your Headsize.
I would say it should fit most for outdoor-/sport activities but laying on the bed or couch probably isn't an option for most. Mine fit me so well, I can use them in a motorcycle helmet.

Been wearing Aftershokz for years. Recently got Titanium headset . They are very uncomfortable , have to constanly adjust the fit. Very distracting .

These are great for listening to Dr. Michael Savage and audio books.....extremely helpful when being hen pecked by the old lady wanting you to listen to her complaining about all of humanity. : )

90% of Conduction Headphones ''SELLERS'' are BOGUS, CRAP or LIARS!!!

A lot are in MONO...........NOT STEREO!!!

Some are NOT even bone conducting!!!

The ones with FLIMSY & SOFT bands tend to keep falling off and are so irritating!!!
