I see that they have 3 diff sizes. Im definitely a smaller one but if i get the regular one for the sake of fitting other people who are big, will it be uncomfortable for me?

I think I would get the leather since I have always AC On during the summer. also I am sure I would destroy it with food if I get the Softweave. Secretlabs has skin in their accessories section for these chairs, whenever I change my mind I can buy a skin instead :). Thanks fo the video.

I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black.
The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

Do you know if there are any reports or anything like that with the leatherette material peeling off over time because if not thats what im getting, if so im gonna get the softweave

leatherette for me, as the "black" chair is fully blacked out, to me more understated, and classy, real napa leather was out of stock, or I would have gotten that., napa is also fully blacked out. for me cleanup is an issue, I eat and drink at the desk. I must say I am loving my black Sl 2022. in coastal Texas, for sure have AC!

Is the titan logo gold or silver on the artic white?

The issue that people don't realize with the softweave (if it isn't 100% water & sweat proof) and breathable materials is that your sweat is going to soak into the foam and not be removeable. Over time it will smell & give that salty sweat smell. The even worse part is the smell that can gather from farting while sitting on it over time.

Leatherette for me. This will be my Christmas and Birthday Gift at the same time. Working from home is no joke, and Wayfair has tested my last nerve! Time for a quality chair.

Softweave,, AZ temps, a/c went out once,, I can see sweat being a definite issue, but the leatherette has a nice finish to it

I got the soft weave and my back is absolutely killing me. Any tips on how to fix this? I have tried literally every adjustment the chair can offer and yet my back hurts.

Okay yeah my household is pretty hot a lot if the time. I’m currently using a $150 “leatherette” type of chair now and I’m constantly sweating even in the winter although I know SL is a lot more premium than that chair but still. I think soft weave black is better for me for this reason even though black usually doesn’t do too good in giving off less heat (think wearing a black shirt in 100 degree weather) but still think it’ll do a better job than the leatherette in terms of sweating. And I do eat/drink in my chair so maybe if I get a black one, stains and stuff like that (if they were to happen), would be less noticeable since it’s darker. Great and informative video. Do you have to get the barrier kit separately?

Thank you, this video was very informative. I think I will be going with the leatherette. It also seems they don't sell the Barrier Kit anymore. It appears the noise issue only affects some chairs, and if your chair is one of them, you might be able to have a free Barrier Kit sent out. I don't know this for sure, but it's enough for me.

I've owned a bodybilt for the last 12 yrs and have loved the chair unfortunately its finally giving out on me so I'm going with a titan Evo xl dark knight edition I hope it can live up to a bodybilt but I just cant see dropping 2K on a chair

hey Jacob, little question, does your chairs have a little of "free-play" when lock, I mean, my chair slightly rocks back and forth even when locked, dunno if its normal, cheers mate.

Everyone talks about how the fabric is good for hot weather, but my trail of thought leads me to think that it will be more often absorbing your sweat like a towel. Did you have any problems with sweat marks or even smell?

I must say ....softweave only on the 2020. 2022 is so rough... although you would think it can outlast the neo, but im sure after 2 years when SL launch their new version, you will get the newer again. Leatherette it is for me, it look and feel much comfortable and premium. own 2020 softw. and 2022 neo.

I like both materials, it's really hard to pick one! But as long as the noise problem is non-existent I'd probably go for the leatherette.

I went with the soft weave black! Love it got it for a few weeks now! Stay with the soft weave brother!!
